nah and assassins can solo fine even at less than maxed out stats/gear.

You always have defensive stance, you can equip a shield, use stunning and heal poison and also spec to Smokebomb (AoE Stun) if you want to be really cautious about it.

Combine that with knowledge on how to actually play the class and some effort to upgrade your gear outside of quests and it's not bad at all.

pretty much the only way to solo an assassin with out the FAIL is to kite mobs and in that case you're better off leveling a ranger and betraying him at 80.


i can solo names in Kc with my assassin but that was like.... a 2 week thing i did and i doubt ill ever get into that thing again when my necro or bruiser can run around that place and clear every name before the first name i killed respawns. in short, assassin is a group/raid dps class. you need to know and understand that your assassin won't solo well and that's the price the class pays for solid T1 dmg imo.
