My assassin's parse...
I'm getting extremely keen on my assassin now that his loot is nearly as good as my dirges and his parses are getting higher, but I was in WoE the other night with an assassin in my alliance, and he was parsing on average ~10% higher than me...
Both myth, I have razor and he has firespike (from WoE), I have 3x T4 and 4x T3, he has full T3 (par shoulders maybe), I have Varsoon Ring + WoE Circlet of the Najena Assassin, and also Captains Moldering Fleshband etc... my charms/ears/belt/other wrist/cloak are crap atm and I'm looking at the best gear in my reach to get (naga belt, stud first mob palace, treasureseekers, Predatory Plug, Choker (both SoF + Kurns), WoE cloak etc), but I still feel with my gear I should be outparsing him (he has legendary crap jewellry etc).
Does AA spec make a big difference?
Is there something I should know about concealment chain that I don't already know? (I manage to hit all my stealthed attacks in and then get off my finishing blow).
I am probably about 50 AA worse off than him since AA came out when I was level capped on my assassin :/.
Any thoughts welcome, apart from those of the "Don't suck" nature (I know I might suck, but I want to change that obviously).
Thanks guys.
Vuetee/Valdoartus
(p.s. I use temp buffs whenever they're available, I have a number of masters, my MC/DA is 70/44 self buffed [and would normally have IA/BC], and I am a nub on my toon :P)

If he has 50 more AA's than you, I'm assuming he has the TSO end lines... Stealth Mastery can make a big difference. That would be my guess.

Yeah, agree with Jez, I am not an Assassin, but being a DPSer; I can tell you that when compairing builds and gear, the AAs make a bigger difference than minor gear differences. Also, masters vs expert level make a little difference.

Re: My assassin's parse...
ya if you don't have your end lines you're for the most part not a "real" assassin as far as raids go, for that matter that goes for almost any class.
if that's not the reason then it might be group set up, in other words what support classes and how well geard where these support classes. did you get Bc or Ia this matters because Bc has a longer range then Ia so it's easier to loose the Ia benefits if the illy is at range. did you both have dirges? tbh unless you're rocking the 6 piece tso bonus, avi charms/gear or field gen off hand, gear isin't going to make a huge difference. it's group make up and player experiance, might be that he knows the zone/mobs better then you do so he knows when to hit conceal and maybe you don't.

Spot on about support classes. They make a huge difference, if the other assassin was getting Illy Arm and you wern't, that alone will make a significant difference, perhaps nearly 10%.

What are you talking about?
Illusionary arm and Battle cry only have a CASTING range, so long as the buff is on you it will effect you no matter where you are in the zone.
Buffs / gear make a massive difference to your DPS no matter how much experience of a mob you think you might have, if I'm hitting a button and it hits for 100 and someone else hits the same button and it hits for 50, yeah, that makes a difference.
When to better time concealment? I always use concealment at the same time on pretty much every fight.

maybe it was changed but ia use to fall off, ill have to check if that was changed. also if i recall correctly ia has a 20m and Bc has a 50m range if these buffs no longer fall off then i guess these ranges indeed no longer matter.
as far as concealment thing.. i know i hit concealment at different times in different zones once i know about when the stiffles and crap are going to hit.. you might not i guess it's preference but i feel it's the difference between 3 multipliers and 5.
btw stop being such a bitch dona no clue what got your panties in a bunch but i think it's time to let that shit go son..

Re: My assassin's parse...
Make sure you wait until dispatch hits before you hit your concealment chain and you should notice an improvement to your DPS.
You can add the following trigger in ACT which wiill alert you when dispatch hits:
.*'s Dispatch(?: critically)? hits .* for .* slashing damage.*

I'm not being a bitch, I was just correcting the retarded stuff you just spouted so that the OP didn't take that dumb stuff and think it was true.
Anyways if you have a guild and you know fine well a stifle is incoming, any smart person would pop a signet instead of delaying what they were going to do
