Default Control Effect Immunity

Are there any items/potions other then signets and freedom of mind potions that you guys use to prevent control effects from landing on you.

I'm looking for things I can self control, so not things castable by others (i.e. sanctuary), and for item based effects, I'm looking for non avatar stuff.

Pots and signets are great, but since I'm just limited to 1 of each signet and 10-15 min reuse (don't remember offhand how long) on freedom, I was looking for any other things that would help get off a concelment chain uninterrupted.

Thanks!

Don't really know of anything that prevents any effect other than fear.

or

at least as a chain wearer that's what I know of, I'm a guard so there is also a plate BP with a similar proc to that of those chain legs, and Stout Band from Tyrannus

Has a 2 % chance to resist a stun. I always though it was weak

I don't think there's such a thing, you just have to know the zones.

For instance, Ferzhul in PoF, you need to let rip with a concealment chain just after he has teleported. The one where you click the platform, the same thing...

In ToMC, lets say Xebnok, you wait for the uncurable arcane to go off before hitting a concealment chain.

Tythus, you wait for the trauma to have gone off. (PotAO).

Captain Grush (WoE), you wait for his big AE to go off so that you aren't starting it just as he's about to stun you (it's not actually that hard an AE, but the stun suxx ass).

The best way to control your concealment chains is by knowing the mobs... I know I found it a pain in GUK when the mobs knock you back, you wait for the KB, run back in, get concealment chain off and there's just enough time between knockbacks to get a FULL concealment chain in (incl assassinate + 2 AE's).

Wearing something like the scale of the leviathan will hinder dps, especially if you have Essence of mastery and the EA one, or 2 avatar charms... Even if you are just using WoE charms, the DPS they will give you will outweigh the 2% chance to resist a stun...

Are control effects generally resistible? Would that be arcane?

you can resist the AE as a whole (not every AE is resistable tho) but not particular effects of it. the only exception is a percent chance for a stun resist, available to fighters via AA and above mentioned scale

Control Effects are resistable if you have gear that increases your resist to that control effect.

Some fights have resist to stifle, you can also get fear resist from certain gear, same with stifle, root, and stun resist. It is not very common, but it exists.

There's an item from Mayong Mistmoore (MMIS not sure about others) that has stun/stifle resist only 6 second proc though 1.8 ppm
