Been running WOEs pretty regularly lately to help gear guildies. Last night Lavapoint \aITEM -1573024469 8816304:Lavapoint\/a dropped for me. I had been carrying Marrow's Song \aITEM -742519407 1016514910:Marrow's Song\/a. I know niether is optimum for an offhand, but for the time being, in your oppinion which should i wield, Marrow's has a better rating by 5 points & +40INT but Lavapoint has +4 attack speed/+2 double attack/+2 melee crit. Ive been operating under the assuption that melee crit>all so I equipped Lavapoint but havent had the opp to really use it. In main tank group w/ dirge i parse 7-9k on bosses & 5-7k ZW with Marrow's in my offhand. Any feedback is appreciated.

shit you can do a PUR and get the lifespike now out of SoH, or another viable option is razor off retarded snake for now

Yeah, Lifespike is on my shortlist of offhand weapons, that & the meatcleaver of the ethernaught. Was in Hate 3 nights ago but sisters didn't drop it. I was hoping someone might co-sign the Melee Crit sentiment or tell me to stick with the extra 5 WR & INT until I can upgrade.

Did any Bards jump you for winning Marrows?

Unless I'm missing something, it's not a great weapon for Preds (though it is for Bards due to the bonus).

If they're anything at all like us, all of their bards had it and it was about to be muted. We had a guardian that used it.

Yeah it all depends...I've heard of PURs where Assassins got it over Bards...it happens LOL.

an assassin looted Charm of the Lost over our MT the other night (from befallen caverns in a PUG, but still you would have thought they had more sense!).

And I would love marrows, I saw it drop once and that was the first time i ran the zone (and 12 tone, i waited for that for ages).

if you can get marrows, you most likely can get sabres and MAYBE even nox noctis is better than marrows for assassins (ducks and runs for cover).

If you can't get lifespike then well, i would say that you need to reconsider where you raid, but meh i assume you can do aye?
