Default Next AA question

I have the final ability in STR
I have the final ability in Bleeding

Seems to be workin ok for me, i am not a parser, or 'hardcore' person.

My question is, I have 11 points in AA saved, would they benefit me better in INT (not enough for spell crits yet), or in Tricks or Poisons?

Basically I am sitting with 21 in each tree predator and assassin, and have 11 points that can go either way, where should i tie those up til i get more?

Any serious responses much appreciated.

Keep em in the preditor tree, you may not be able to hit spell crits yet but if you keep em in the pred tree you can respec to them as soon as you have the points.

I'd probably just stick em where my stats are lacking, it's usually how I work pre-lvl 70.

So the pred tree has more to offer than the assassin tree?

Poisons looked nice, and the 'stabbing' one.

It seems a bit confusing to me, we don't have "spells" we have "combat arts".

I am going to assume here that the 'spell crits' affect combat arts.

Or weren't they changing that, or was that just gear bonuses?

Spell's in this game is basically anything that doesn't do melee damage (with the exception of mark also considered a spell). So spell crits affects any proc put on you as well as your poisons. With spell crits maxed you practicly crit every single proc so your DPS increases greatly.

I would only go to the Assassin tree when you can't put any more points into the predator tree as the predator tree is > then the Assassin tree by far.

Poisons will no longer use spell damage modifiers found on a number of items.

No, that change was directed at the +damage adornments and gear that were increasing poison damage when they were not intended too. For example a +30 spell damage adornment (I know +30 is not a real adornment just using it for ease of computation) was adding +40 damage to poisons based off of their 4 second cast time. This was changed to no longer affect poisons.

That's interesting. I didn't realize that +whatever adornments worked off the spell timer normaization. So if I'm reading that right, then would the +12 pierce bow adornment be adding +36 on a 9 sec delay bow?

I;m still trying to figure out how you know that the adornment works differently than what it sasy in the text of the examine window.

I haven't ever seen a dev explain any of those formulas.

I'm also wondering if the +piercing on the bow adornment is an overall + to piercing or ONLY on the piercing damage done by auto attack from your bow.

This puts me in quandry cuz how much do we auto attack on our bow? We are melee'rs. I can see how this would help Rangers, but would this really be something to help out Assassins? If not - any suggestions on what to put on a bow?

Some of the adornments are still confusing to me - but then again I am a real blond.

It only affects piercing damage from bow attacks not +piercing skill

+10 DPS for the bow all the way imo unless you are with a coercer 100% of the time then vampiric. But if you arent capped in DPS all the time there is no reason to go with vampiric
