Default Assassin parsing

I'd like to consider myself a pretty decent assassin so I thought I would ask, what do you guys parse on average?

Now I know that a lot goes into determining how we parse on raids so an average is cool and maybe include the zone since that is important as well.

Personally I don't have a parser so I can't throw up hard numbers for myself. However for a ballpark number I'd say that when in a decent group for DPS I can parse anywhere from 1.8k to 2.5k (on average) on fights in EH that do not involve a lot of target switching (i.e. Tender, Gardener..) I once parsed about 1.4k on instanced Mayong and I thought that was pretty good lol

Alot of factor's come into play when talking about an average zonewide parse. Gear, master 1 skill's (a must), and group setup. I am fortunate enough to have the same setup almost every raid. Myself (Assassin), trouby, inquisiter, illusionist, warlock and a brigand. I have pretty good gear and a mainhand weapon with a delay of only 2.5 but I can still nail 2k+ per encounter. If I time thing's perfectly 3k+. Let's not forget that you can have all the gear and all the master's, group setup, but if you can't play your toon well then you are not going to parse worth a dang. You also must count on you group member's to have all thier buff's master 1 as well. Timing c/a as not to interupt your auto attack too, can be tricky for some but once you get the hang of it, it's not that hard. Poison's, I would suggest using hemo and having 5 point's in it on your assassin tree for big dps. There is a whole other topic area that will deal with dps is how you chose to spend your aa point's. Alot of good input from the world's best assassin's on these board's helped me improve my game, just read as much of thier advice and play around with your toon and you will be sucessfull. Good luck!!

2K+ is pretty standard as far as most of the top assassins go, if your able to avg 2k+ you are doing just fine overall and can work on fine tuning it. Being able to have a consistant grp is huge. I rarely have the same grp from night to night so my parses vary quite substantially. I had an amazing grp in EH and was doing 2500+ no sweat than other times Im doing good if I can even get to 2k (sometimes we have a grp of 5 non buffing scouts and a healer, not a lot of help there).

I get shuffled between two group setups mainly:
MT w/ zerk/coercer/dirge
DPS group with illusionist, fury, wizard, brigand, me, warlock or conj when we have one

Avg 1.8-2.3kish zonewides in both, variable depending on if there's a lot of chatter in officer chat or I'm in tells a lot that night or too many folks log into messenger (yeah, I multi task way too much)

Here is what I am seeing

Dirge = 2k+

Dirge+Illz = 2.5k +

Dirge + Illz + Fury(Agitate) = 3k

I think I was doing 2.8 k Zone wide at FTH with Dirge+Illz before Tryleoth when I have to switch to my warden.

That being said, Ranger with Regid and tender is kicking several asses.

I thought agitate was a stealth breaker? Anybody know if there is truth in that i.e tested it or what not? I stopped using apply poison and am never in a group with fury so I dont have agitate. But I do know that the % of steath breaking dropped waaaaaaay down when these 2 factor's are taken out of the equation. A broken concealment c/a chain can really hurt your dps imho. I really wish soe would get these stealth breaking issue's fixed, I think all of us assassin's can agree it is a nightmare.

From my personal experience, seems like anything that procs an effect can break stealth. But my stuff breaks most often with a shaman, I suspect it is either ward, or their group ward buff. Also lag is a big factor in concealment too, nothing is worst then 3 sec CA lag on contested fight and only able to get off 1-2 CA on concealment.

1800-2300 at the moment depending on group. I rarely have a really good group, though, and I'm often in MT. With dirge+templar MT is not as bad as it could be at least. Individual fights vary between 1800 and 3500 on a lot of things, with 2000-2500 being typical. This is with raid dps 20-30k, normally in the low to mid 20s. I suspect with 30k raid dps it would be a bit higher due to the beneficial effects on assassins, who do a lot of damage fast.

Of course those are zone-wide. I don't pay too much attention to single fights, except for fun. I broke 4k on a 1m fight the other day, so my next goal is 4500. In the fun department, anyways.
