Yeah Diceeno has some relevant questions.

When I betrayed to assassin, my first raid with practically no gear, I was doing more than that.

It sounds like you have very low strength or some kind of problem casting CAs. With your weapons you got and some raid buffs you should be doing auto-attack for a few hundred dps. Are you losing a lot of damage moving around, missing attacks?

Default Re: DPS problem

I made 1 typo earlier:
Masked Attack > Killing Blade. Its actually Masked Attack > Puncture Blade
But Steelbadger's got a point I'm not debuffing enough

My self-buffed str / sta: 457 / 483.
With raid setup I get about 630+ . Rarely hit 70

All my Steath CAs are M1 - Masked Attack is M2. (No I didnt take Malignant Mark - should I ?)
For DoTs: 3/4 are M1. Rest of the frontals are Ad3.

My AA is:
Predator Tree:
----------------------
STR 4-4-7-8-2
INT 4-6-4-8-2

Assassin Tree:
-----------------------
Scraping Blow - 5
Flowing Wound - 5
Deadly Wound - 5
Cloaked Assault - 5
Excessive Bleeding

Freezing Strike - 3
Sinister Strike - 5
Deadly Focus - 3
Exacting - 5
Enmesh - 5
Hemotoxin - 5
Attribute Poison - 3

My pierce is now : 407/407
My slash is now : 387 / 387

I dont have debuffers most of the time in my group - so I can't comment.

Also, I'm beginning to think my ACT is broken,,,I'm doing at least 50% of what is recommened here...so its wierd. Can someone also advise on how to twink my ACT ??

The Shadowknight has to buff. Stop the raid.

Just a thought, and I'm not insinuating anything. One of the assassins in my guild, before she stopped playing, had rediculously low parses, so I watched her fight... and it turned out she was standing out of auto-attack range. Sometimes the most confusing issues have simple solutions - if your ranged attack icon is lighting up, you're not attacking with your melee attacks. Are you in melee range? (Combat Arts have higher range than your actually attacks)

i'd say yes. Best choice by far imo. You should notice an enhancement straight away. Mark is one of these ca's i'd throw in whenever it's up. crits like crazy

I can't see any problem with your ca's and aa setup here.

As far as str goes, sure can be better, but i wouldnt say it's low.

still room for improvement on the skills, but doesnt justify such a low parse.there's a bunch of +pierce items you can get hold of eventually. some classes can buff these skills too.

Possibly you can post a model parse breakdown of your damage? I use ACT on default settings basically and it parses me fine...

(if you are being parsed by a mage however, there is the likelihood that they are missing some of your damage... I was parsed at like 200dps on a Vyemm fight by a mage once >.<)

Yeah you gotta run your own parser because there's no guarantee any other particular person will see all your damage.

I would say getting your STR higher has to be a priority. Get Mark at Master2, not the other one. Keep getting masters.

But something does seem weird. Can you post your damage pie chart from ACT? (Take a screenshot)

Thank you everyone - you have given me alot to think about as well as a great wealth of information to work on.

I will be posting my ACT shortly...

Meanwhile are there any settings on my ACT I should pay attention to? Eg: triggers...N timer...etc etc

Btw: What is Frontload & Mental Breach? I don't recall using them - will it help my cause?

no it wont. mental breach is the poison, which drains mana from the mob to you, instead of doing damge. its will lower your dps if you use mental all the time.
for frontload take a look here http://www.eq2flames.com/showthread.php?t=6229

Why does it matter if a mage is doing the parsing?
