On another annoying note, they made Bazkul and Ichorstrand ammo into worse than storebought, or so says my guildmate who checked.

They reduced the to hit % on summoned ammo compared to everything else. The +damage is still the best on summoned stuff, though. I dont see this being that big of a deal for assassins.

I hope they give us some really good high end whips. Anyone have any ideas on what the best whips are currently? None worth using, are there?

Damn, I think all scout DPS will be holding their dicks in their hand while being rezzed. I know I am 2nd on the hate list almost every fight, so I assume I will be severly fucked on next LU. Time to put on some dehate gear I guess.

I guess they are just forcing us to use our shitty Hate AA.

Whips would be quite stylish :P.

Does that mean that we could use any one-hand slasher or piercer that is avaiable in the game right now for main and off-hand? That sounds really interesting. I haven't looked into one-handed weapons at all yet, since it never really occured to me to use them with my assassin.
Could anyone link any of the already mentioned weapons or some more?

its certainly going to make for some interesting procness and damage spread looksies for crits. Our DPS will increase, no doubt.

Be interesting for the rogues if DW becomes a better option to double attacks now.

the increase in auto attack affecting multiple targets from 2% to 3.5% per rank might be interesting to test now with better weapons.

its still only 28% though, probably not enough to bother with over the STR/INT lines.

Both the changes to 1H/DW weapons and the changed to our AA lines makes it alot more obvious that no one in charge of these changes plays an assassin. I think the AA changes are useless and the weapon changes are gonna rock (almost too much, almost like T6 Rangers rocked I think).

I better save plat for repair kits.

I dont see how the weapon changes will rock?

they are offsetting the extra damage by delaying the off hand attack. Also most of our damage is though CA anyway.

20-30% of my damage is pierce, from my weapons, that is gonna go up. I dont have uver weps, just GDOH and Vyms Fang. 95% of my CA's are mastered too. I have alot of + piercing stuff (both my adorns are that) but I still need my offensive stance mastered so it can still improve.

for instance, if GDOH was 25-200 before and its 30-250 now, thats a big increase. It will crit for more, and do more damage.

anyway you look at it, our auto attack DPS will go up, quite a bit. I have a theory on some other things that will get a boost from this too but i wanna test it out first.

All in all its gonna require some testing to work out what the new ideal combination is.

I honestly wonder how much it'll change. It looks like yes, you'll hit ~30% harder but you'll attack 30% slower. The change would however let 4 second delay weapons max out at a little over 2 seconds, letting you have more room for error and lag... but who is to say how procs will be modified?
