Re: Assassin AA Tree's
Currently, I've dropped bleeding and Repeated stabbing, though I don't think I needed to do them both. After frontload, I just started assigning points till I had enough to get to the 3rd shadow line, and I was mostly putting them into the temp buffs from the getaway line, which I don't want to pickup.
After raiding last night, I think my raid spec will have repeated stabbing again, and my heroic spec will probably have bleeding. Course, all the current aa points will go towards the other of those 2 lines, since I think you have to spend 140 in kos and eof trees to unlock the assassin shadows line.

Re: Assassin AA Tree's
So I've just recently started an assassin and I'm looking at where to begin assigning my points. There seems to be a lot of debate over which lines to go down, but I assumed I'd be safest started off with the STR line. Is the general consensus that the allotment of 6-4-4-8-1 is the way to go with this line?

MOST I know have done this. It's actually silly not to get the crit reduction ability if you raid.

Re: Assassin AA Tree's
I am at work so going by memory but doesn't the crit reduction Shadow AA have a 30 sec duration and 30 sec recast and is in the Predator line? If the Ranger in your guild has it and goes to all the raids, we don't necessarily need it right away. We should get it even in this situation at some point but why not let the lowly Ranger do the work for us?

Re: Assassin AA Tree's
You should both have it anyway. If one of you is dead or there are multiple mobs, you want multiple people with it.
PS: Bleeding line sucks anyway.

Re: Assassin AA Tree's
but you cant spec the 4th shadow tree when you not have 170 points invests - i think.
my predator tree is full spect, assa tree only poison and the tricks line. shadow tree until the 3th line + specials.
and sure lairelandon, i ran any intances in TSO, but you must see the ZW dps, not the dps of 1-2 encoutners, STA sucks! ;)
show me some raid zw parses with sta line spect plz...

Re: Assassin AA Tree's
Well thats a pretty fucking stupid request seeing as how no one is saying to use stamina for raids, only for heroic instances. That would be like asking to see ZW parses from raid zones when you were in a group by yourself and naked cept for your mythical to determine if lifespike was better in the offhand than throatripper.
WTF

Re: Assassin AA Tree's
I dropped the bleeding line so I could get to Noxious Enfeeblement with around 150 AA points.
Have now started filling the bleeding line up again till I get the 170+ needed to start getting the TSO assassin line.
Sticking to the Str/Agi/Int spec, for now anyway.

Ha, shows what you know. I have a 2 room apartment, but the bedroom is hidden behind a tapestry. thats where all the phat lewtz is nub.
You ran every heroic instance with sta and without? I'd love to see those parses. Esp for the first befallen zone. Just because you're doing well in heroic instances with int, doesn't mean you can't do better with sta.
