For some reason.. an assassin was saying this over and over again in different ways. I was asking for logic said he didnt have any... he just knew. and i kept thinking.. is he fucking serious?

Proc vs. no-proc

That's obviously an easy choice to make, Soulfire Sabre is better, period.

Maybe your friend already has the GDoH and is too damn lazy to quest the SoD. So in turn, in his own head- made a conclusion that the GDoH is better. Which is clearly not the case.

it was a dude in assassin channel with alot of the best gear in the game. He really thinks its better... he said if he didnt have pick hed go GDOH main hand and it offhand... but since he has pick (one from avatar) he goes GDOH main hand pick offhand.

Ratio tells you how much better crits are than regular hits. Some people have made the unfortunate mistake of thinking ratio is the first and only thing to look at on weapons :P

The ratio is important because it influences the max dmg on the weapon (combined with the delay). I might write up a bit of the math to explain this at some point.

note: the max dmg is only better relative to your crit %. If it weren't for crits, DR would be the only measure, along with delay to account for missed swings.

ya I was wrong, big deal, everyone is wrong is about something, way to make a huge deal about it the crit ratio thing always screws me up.
