I suck at naming items for I will skip that part however for an example of what I would like to see.
Generic Assassin Weapon #1
DW Piercing
45 str
37 sta
40 int
34 agi
+13 piercing
200 HP
275 Power
75-320 range
4.0 Delay
Generic Proc #1
On a succesful attack this spell has a chance to cast rapage of the Assassin, increases the damage of all combat arts and auto attack by 10% for 20 seconds. This effect will trigger 1.8 times a minute.
I think we all agree it needs to be a piercer and it needs to have a high delay.

- Attacks by target cannot be dodged, parried, evaded or blocked
- Increase ranged and melee critical chance by 10.0%

While I know this is something you and all other assassins, including me, would want...
Don't you think that its a little much to have 10% double, 10% crit on a 15s 1.8 proc, make all your attacks unavoidable, and increase your CA damage by 15%?

If they did a truly epic quest and staged it out like they have the soulfire and that was the say 2nd step of fabled and required taking down either one insane instance or a really tough contestible...no. If its the kind of thing SOE tends to view as epic, take off the 10% crit or the unavoidable attacks part and call it even. Sooo.....to tone it down lets go with:
DW Piercing - Sai

That seems reasonable for an 'epic' weapon and I know I'd clear a hand for it.

I know you are looking for weapon stats and procs here, but the only thing I really wanna see is to have the thing be a bullwhip.
It looks kick ass when we wield a whip.
I have a few ideas for procs
Something that will stun epics. I doubt soe will give anyone this, but i'd still like it.
A DoT component to the damage
A chance to improve our poison procs if we wield this in the main hand. While it increases the procs, i want it to help us conserve our poisons too, so we wont have to re-apply as often. So like, maybe take the procs from 1.8/min to 2/min, but have it only use a half a charge each time (but still hit full strength). Or maybe even make it so that if it procs while the effect is still up from the last proc, it refreshes that timer but does not take up one of your uses.
And, most importantly, when the battle is complete, we need a cooler re-sheathing motion. If the weapon is a longer weapon, like a short sword, make it a big flourish where we sling the blood off our blade. It its a dagger, have us spin it around our fingers like the gunslingers did with thier pistols in the cheesy westerns.
As always, the most important thing is that it looks cool.

Assassin epic.. hmm
Its no secret that assassins favor higher delay/damage ratio weapons, so i think what we are really talking about here is the effect(s) that would be most beneficial for our class.

* Removes all positional and stealth requirements from combat arts in the casters arsenal
* Increases hate gain of the caster by 10%
* Increases Melee Crit Chance of caster by 10%
* Increases combat art effectiveness of caster by 10%
* Increases attack speed of caster by 10%
* Caster will double attack on 10% on melee attacks
* When target takes any damage this spell has a 10% chance to cast Last Stand on target of attack. Lasts for 15 seconds.
* When caster or attacker preform a parry, block, deflect or riposte this spell will cast Desperate Feint. Inflicts 600-800 melee damage on target.
* When caster uses a combat art this spell has a 15% chance to cast Desperate Feint. Inflicts 600-800 melee damage on target.

So thats pretty much what i came up with. Suited to assassins no matter what there doing. Addresses assassin soloing issues, to hit/miss issues, not being able to utilize assassin auto attack fully, still being able to use stealth CA's on mobs with damage shields and positional attack on mobs your tanking, and its interesting without being outright broke. But i certainly think its epic. ;)

the bonuses to auto attack are just fluff, imo. posted because people will expect them. the big thing here is stealth and positional requirement removal so we can utilize auto attack as more then 1/3 or 1/4 of overall damage output. i refrained from posting stats because i have no idea what what to expect from t 8 gear. For the stat types however i completely agree with Vaanir. Graphic, i was kinda hoping we could hook up a little flying guillotine action. make it look like a 20lbs yoyo.

I dont think the stealth/positional requirement removal is a good idea. . . sounds like a rogue envy to me. I would rather incrase those CAs damage and decrease recast. . . the double damage when invised and double attack on 1min+ CAs sound good too.
