i think its more like this:
for example. you spent 15 points in assassin tree. your first 15points, woot! then you realize that the predator tree is much better but the 'old' rule is that you can't spent those 15 points in the predator tree since you did them in the assassin tree.
with lu37 you can do that. you can swich them between trees as you want.
