Well dunno, but you seem to have some sort of a swashie complexe there. I do agree that I want more assassine love, but you don't really get out-DPSed by a swashie on a regular basis, do ya?

murderous design is now a 5sec recast to their instant, in the grand scheme of things that not a huge difference whereas 30sec was indeed a big deal.

Personally I prefer swashys to have the better transfer and be able to do good DPS, that way they can be in MT grp and I can be put in a better group. The biggest problem for assassins is that they are hard to buff effectively, to really buff an assassin you end up taking buffs away from more important classes.

Strike for example, they wont even recruit an assassin because they have a good swashy for MT grp and 2 rangers. If they had an assassin to buff him so he could actually do something theyd have to take buffs off a ranger which is rediculous and it wouldnt make sense to replace the swashy in MT grp because their transfer is better if the swashy does real good DPS.

Personally I could really care less whats happening with other classes, should the time come in the future where assassins are not needed anymore than so be it, thats the signal to move on to something else. I enjoy playing this game for what it is and find it rather exhausting to be constantly looking at other classes for things that make them overpowered vs me. Assassins need some love for sure, but I have better things to do than comparing classes.

What assassins need is their own niche. Currently the two most suited niches are occupied by other classes who do it better. Hopefully that will get resolved in RoK.

he seems to me as someone who had an assassin than quit because he couldnt compete with his guilds swashy and currently plays something else while being bitter over the whole thing.

Well I don't know about other stuff he posts but you should seriously not go all chicken on swashies. They are really NOT hard to outparse at all. ATM I've got some DPS high I think, outparsing just everyone. But that might be cus our ranger is not playing atm *cough*,



Anyway: I'm raiding at this very moment (short break) and am testing out frontload. I like it. Sort of. Dunno, didn't notice a decrease in DPS anyway. And it's always nice to have another button to push.

When do you recomend using Frontload anyway? Start of fight, rather a bit later when Dispatch is called and other debuffs are on the mob? Is waiting better or using it right away so you could use it twice in a fight? I think I prefer to wait for debuffs cus fights don't last that long anymore anyway... Would you really use Tender Seeds instead of Hemotoxin?

I use it right away so hopefully my robe procs at some point before or during my concealment chain. Without a robe I cant really see anytime that its going to be better used during a fight. I would say that I would probably use all my poison debuffs before I used it or with dispatch.

Direct damage procs are going to be better suited for Frontload because they cant be overridden whereas hemo is going to be overridden a bunch while frontload is up most likely. Poisoned Seeds and caustic are going to be better when used WITH frontload, however because its only a short time I dont think you are going to lose anything using hemo, its just not as effective due to it being overriden.

I use poisoned seeds all the time now that I have a constant supply and dont really use hemo much, Im considering that since I dont I might put those points in apply poison.

Skimmed over the thread and didnt see any mention of what the actual added dmg on frontload. On my parse the actual dmg is shown under the respective poison that is proced, IE if you are using ignorant bliss poisons the dps is parsed under ignorant bliss. From what i saw the added dmg is anywhere from 250-500 added dmg, but you do definatly see a difference if the amount of caustic poison procs.

Funny, not to long ago you made posts on how unfair the hate transfer was as well. But when I do it, I am “stupid” Cause I don’t do it in a politically correct way. Stop being hypercritic and trying to score butt points.


The first step to fix a problem is to a) recognize that problem
b) make suggestion on how to fix that problem.


Peeps want to sit there in love with them selfs they don’t even want to recognize the problem. Butt boys, want to call names and say your a cry baby from bringing shit up, instead of address the issue, one way or another. Sorry I think these forums is where you bring shit up.


There are some class balancing issues, some obvious and easy to fix some more complex. Hate transfer is an easy one. They still did not get it right.


The main problem is that being a pure dps class, we don’t out dps on a whole in general other classes that are more then just dps class. Also its harder for us to do dps then other types of pure dps classes due to AE, Position requirements, and having to have the top weapons in the game.


And if you look at the pole where over 200 people voted on the other part of the forum, most agree with me. Assassins won hands down on “who should be” but lost hands down on “who does” This is factual feed back from the players that support my views. Not pulling shit out of my ass in my own little universe.


Besides I am entitled to my view, even if your wrong and don’t agree with it, that’s what forums are about, to talk about issues. You as a forum leader, call someone name then threaten to ban cause you don’t agree “today” although it seemed you agreed not to long ago. Nice, I think that little pink pussy Fabio or what ever his name was right maybe he should be leader.

If you, yes, you personally, guy with the retarded name, don't outparse other classes that do more utility then you, you should reroll because you suck. My guilds parse always has assassin, wizard and range at or very near the top of the parse, followed by our conj, swash and necro and illusionist. So what you seem to think is a class issue, might just be a personal problem?

Its all about buffs, you give the ranger the best buffs hes going to parse high, you give the swashy the better buffs, if they are good they will be at the top, give assassin the buffs its the same thing. Who parses what is completely dependent on who in getting the buffs, if your guild is buffing the swashy and that swashy can play than Im not surprised youd be getting outparsed. If your getting the buffs and still being outparsed than you suck plain and simple.

The problem with assassins as I have stated is that they are hard to buff and often times its the case that the buffs are better spent elsewhere ie ranger or swashy in MT. You give an assassin a rangers group like what mystify and Cochy get and the only ones who will probably be able to outparse you ZW is a ranger in a similar group and the wizard with TC.

Our hate transfer is meant for one thing and one thing only imo. To keep us from dying. It can be used for utility, ie MT grp, but its main purpose is to allow us go balls out and not die. If my transfer isnt up I havent met a tank yet who could hold aggro for very long. I could personally care less if swashys hate transfer is a little bit better, theirs is more utility oriented and should be better imo and its better by a whole 5sec whoopdie doo.
