Default What can be done about the unstoppable force?

What the hell am i talking about?

Nothing other than templars and inquisitors.

Short of having a full raid force of 72 people attacking ONE of these guys alone, what steps can a class take to stop these absolute fucking overpowered assholes...

    Shoot them? HP goes up
Do anything? Cures out the wazoo
    Interupts? Immune
    Stifles? Immune

Stun? < No stun lasts long enough to kill one

I play a ranger, and short of getting the PVP bow, and getting the PVP bracelet (that give the PITIFUL -10% healed PROCS) what can i do about this?

Or does it just take HOPING that my teammates will find a clue, and actually gangbang the healer for a change of pace?

Every BG i go in is effectively curbstomped or absolutely ruined by these 2 classes... shamans are pretty beefy too...druids maeh, but yeah...looking for any useful advice on this one

    Thanks in advance

(PS: for those of you who don't know ranger class very well... we have no ranged stifle, no ranged interupt... a melee 2-3s stun and a 1.5s knockdown also at melee range)

Lol, Someone had a hard time killing healers. No healer can stand up for that long with 3 people that actually know what they are doing on them.

Also to call Mutilation pitiful...is hilarious. Basically 10% Heal Potency Reduction, That is huge IMO

I didn't kill it? FUCK, it *must* be overpowered.

Anyone can take any healer out alone, it just depends on the situation.
Also, try using your harder-hitting abilities when they're almost dead. Hah, I piss myself laughing every time an SK harmtouches me as soon as they get in range.
Thanks bro, just gonna heal that up quick.

Maybe if you have an enchanter with you or somebody that can actually stun for a respectable duration, otherwise no.

Dispel is only up every 14 seconds, so as a warlock, I don't expect to strip any significant amount of his buffs, and he's just toss them back up anyways.

We won't even get into all the bags of tricks that Templars have at their disposal on top of their usual shit.

To be honest, if you don't think you can keep yourself up against three average people, I'm going to have to call into question your ability to play your Templar. Although Onyx players are generally very good, I've seen a crap healer from the guild before, so maybe there's more than one. I don't suspect that Sacros will be getting taken out by a three random people anytime soon... or especially this "one person" crap from the poster above me.

yes i think mutilation is kinda crap.

    10% reduce, great.
(Consider the fact that most PVP games that have these sort of effects have them looking at anywhere from 30-75% reduction of healing but obviously other games are balanced differently from eq2, just using it as a pointless basis of comparison i guess)

Well they are sitting at +50% potency and +60-70% crit bonus on 100% crit heals

yeah.....i really feel as if that is ineffective -.-

    So far i have:

    Get a chanter,
Only if the healer sucks and you can burst DPS like a champion (which is basically nailing it down to 1-2 classes)

An anyone can take a healer out alone (with no suggestions as to how me shooting at plate armor with them healing 4-5k in 1 heal is ever suppose to turn out in my favor?)

yeah, still looking for suggestions or logics into what can be done about healers

As a ranger in BG idea is to kill the healer of course so all your time spent burning down others in the area doesn't end in a full heal/waste of time.

90% of the time if you catch a healer while they're unaware and moving you can kill them each time. Open with sniper shot or hidden shot auto attack and procs should do the rest using 1-2 quick casting cas like snaring shot to drop him. If that doesn't work simply snare and avoid them you shouldn't really be soloing ,but if that's your play style that's how it's done.

Most healers just fall over from turning on auto attack ;(. Something else If a healer isn't taking dmg then theirs no reason for them to ward/reactive/heal themselves correct ? Play it smart if you unload on them and you notice they aren't going down just turn auto attack off or pick a new target pref someone that's attacking you ... This will make them take their guard down give it about 10secs before you switch back and right before you switch back to them - focus aim and burn hard.

This is for any class you're facing in BG not just a healer, If you're out of their range they will of course move toward you. Always backing up will keep them just out of range forcing them to follow you you'll notice that their hp will actually drop doing this since they aren't standing still guess what they can't heal. It's not that easy tho of course cause i know if I was that healer when my hp is dangerous low i will stop and heal myself that's your gap window run in and point blank shot and should have yourself a dead cleric.

~Bottom line catch them off guard or just avoid all together

Yes but sadly i dont get to pick and choose what i want to cure and there are soo many debuffs going up even in a 1v1 fight vs most classes.
