Default Re: Your Preferred PVP Healer

Depends on group more than anything and how good that group is.

organized "serious" group -- Templar wins.
Random pick up groups -- it does not really matter.

Really also it's not just the healer that matters it is the tank and the groups gear as well. You can have the best healer in the world in your group but if the group has low toughness and no tank it won't matter much.

    SOE really failed on BGs.

they make it so you can play organized, but there is no ladder or rewards except for gear, so mostly u don't see serious groups anyway, even the few serious groups you do see are not really that serious because they expect to roll whoever they fight (pickup groups) 99.9 percent of the time, causing them to be pretty relaxed.

BGs would of been a much better idea if there was ladder bgs and random BGs. Both having extra rewards besides the same gear everyone gets for the place you are in the ladder. i.e., they copied WOW but they left out the 1 factor that makes it competitive and long lasting.

Back in the day, when there were raid vs raid, or group vs all of KP~ templars were a total pain in the ass. They could hold their own against anything for half an hour or more. I would log off my necro and get on my coercer just to charm the templars and end the embarassing failure of my faction to kill a single healer. The good old days....
