    Default Crit Chance

Does anyone know what the basis for crit chance is for BG?
It is obviously not based on PvE crit chance, because even partially BG geared I am still over 200 PvE crit chance, and I am not seeing that reflected in my BG parses.
Is is going off the crit chance presented on PvP items, even though it does not specify the stat as pvp specific, plus innate crit chance based on class?

I am sure someone must have an idea. I dug through this site and googled around, but I havent come up with anything. And my parses arent clear enough because I cant compare my hits reliably to what people say they have for crit mit... if they even talk.

Crit chance works exactly the same in bg's as it does PVE. You are just fighting people with MUCH higher crit mit than Monsters. The new PvP armor has tons of crit mit on it.

yea it's not crit chance that's your problem, it's pvp crit bonus that is probably low for you. if you cast a spell/use a ca and your roll hits under crit level because your multiplier is low and the other persons crit mitt is high then it will not register as a crit.

on top of that i'm sure that there are hidden mechanics against pvp players that further reduce crit bonus effectiveness.
