Default How many stealth primals do you run with?

I love the beast lord class but am struggling to reach its full DPS potential. I think my biggest issue is on a primal dump I am down to 4 (sometimes 3) bars of savagery by the time I hit my last primal. It takes me a while to cycle through as 3 of my primals require stealth. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

I am thinking about swithing out one or two of the stealth primals. Since I don't have all my pets leveled this means I would have to live with one of the default primals for a while. I am still working on my spiritual pets so if there is another way I would love to hear it.

Below is my AA setup in case I missed something that would help:

Don't "primal dump", unless you have Savagery Freeze up. Keep savagery at 6 the whole time when you can. "CA, CA, Advantage, Primal, repeat" is how I keep mine at 6.

You're losing a lot of dps by dumping your primals at 5 and 4 savagery. Unless it's a really short fight {~1 min} in which anything at 4 or higher savagery I hit as many as I can

Edit - Oh, and I generally run with 2 stealth primals at a time. 3 for group fights to add in Sonic Screetch

Thanks for the info. Yeah I wait for the freeze to dump but even then it goes pretty fast when you are waiting for stealth. I think I will drop one of the stealth primals. I also hit alot of CAs waiting for stealth so it might be worth it in the long run to reduce the CAs while freeze is up and just hit advantages.

The other problem I have is slow pulling. It sucks to do nothing but build your savagery up on trash and then watch it fade away while the group or raid putzes around. My main is a troub so slow pulls kill me on every toon.

Best thing I ever did to help my raid performance on any toon, was to make a Beastlord. After 9 years of playing tank and my mainstay alter ego Main Defiler, I can say that I have learned more about how dps functions in raid dynamics while playing the BL << bad grammar switch here but combining too many thought points into condensed post>> Taking this further, I believe that the mindsets behind the players of pet classes, dps classes and utilities work unknowingly against each other more often than not. I feel the lack of the mechanics behind classes a person doesn't play accounts for the majority of or basis of rather, misunderstandings, frustrations and tempers within a raid. Let me change "I learned more" by clarifying that 7 years of play time, playing everything but a brawler to at least level 50 (most are 95) gave me a solid foundation to build on. Happily, my three month secret experiment with the Beastlord filled in gaps I had been puzzled about for years.

If you are serious about raiding and find yourself staring at the monitor with a headache because you feel you are missing something everyone else seems to get, start a BL on the side. You don't need to bling it out. Just play it. Don't rush it. I kept locking levels but then I would want Haden's Earring, or the J-Boots etc, and you level fast. No pots needed. Definitely get to 30 so you can have both stances to play with, but don't rush it. Don't take it seriously. Have fun with it. For the first 30 levels I never even looked at a log or ACT. <<CARDIAC ARREST ISLE 3>> It was a smart move for me. I didn't use macros, clicky anything fancy tricks, I just got the feel of it and ran around having a blast for 8 weeks not knowing what the **** I was doing. Then, I slowly started reading logs and added ACT in, and started reading forums, and one day something just clicked. I highly recommend having a BL on the side. Maybe it will help you as much as it helped me.

Follow up note: Many guildees and group acquaintances of mine will be receiving "Thank You for Not Cussing me Out in Public Please Forgive Me" presents over the next month!

Please forgive structure, I am half asleep!

tl;dr wanted to write about beastlords. You're thread was on top so i didn't bother to read the question and just posted.

BTT: Why do you have to wait for stealth so long? Blindside - talon - shroud - leap - blindside - screech with anything you want before and in between on ae fights. If freeze is up the only thing keeping me from finishing a chain on sav 6 is a stun/stifle.

there are times that dumping a primal or two is warranted but for the most part you want to try to keep sava at 6 when using them. reuse is really important for a beastlord, everyone knows that but no one has mentioned it on this thread so wtf.

ps. stay away from the advantages that require stealth, they never give a good return for me.
