Elcora the Douch-bag
Ok this thread is completely dedicated to why Elcora is a fucking douche and to warn everybody on the server to never trust this stupid Fuck.
2 Sundays ago I put together a group for Chelsith. I am a SK and tanked it and the whole goal of going was to get the Vile Spawn ring from in there. I had another guildee with me, Cocytus, than folks from other guilds...Battlemedic, Dekota, and Bremia from DeM. It was under the complete understanding that this group would clear Chelsith however my ultimate goal was to get the ring, and everybody was cool with that...well cause I got all scouts that I knew really did not have that much interest in the ring. Well I was about to roll in with just 5 because it is a pretty easy instance and Bremia asked if his Warlock friend could come. And I explained the complete situation about the ring again and said as long as he is cool on passing on the ring if it drops. Well the warlock was none other than Elcora.
After talking to Elcora in tells and explaining about the ring Elcora said that that was cool and we hit up the zone. We were going at a "medium pace", well mostly b/c Elcora's dps sucked ass...Coc and I were leading the parser...and we got to the ring mob which for those of you that don't know this mob is a random mob in the zone, and the ring is a rare drop from him. We get to the named and I remind everybody in group about the ring. We kill B-balls....and BAM.......THE RING.....
Perhaps I celebrated a littler early because I was like "woot, everybody decline please..." I am sure you know what is coming up next...everybody declines, except Elcora who ends up winning the ring on the RNG and goes LD immediately. I was white hot. I was cussing my ass off in the group chat. I was asking Bremia wtf that was and how somebody from DeM can be such a prick and how fucked up it was. Well Bremia really didn't say much than about 5 minutes later when I am clearing for the last named...even though I really just wanted to get the fuck out of there, Bremia says in group that Elcora told him on vent that it was an accident, he lagged and accidentally hit to roll on it and that he was /petition'ing to have it given to me. Of course I am like yeah right.
After the zone is done I talk to Elcora he tells me that he petitioned it so I sent in my own petition just to see if I could hurry matters up. The next day I talk to Elcora again and he says he got a BS answer from SOE saying that Elcora won the ring as intended and that they didn't see the problem so he said he replied back saying that his roll was an accident and that the ring should be traded back to me. Meanwhile I get a response to my petition saying that as much as SOE would like to help me they can't because it takes the person who actually won the item /petition'ing to fix it. I tell Elcora he said he did and that SOE gave him another BS answer so he re-did the whole petition again. Well I responded back to my petition telling them exactly what Elcora told me and I get the response back, that as much as they would like to help me out it takes Elcora /petition'ing for me to get the ring, and according to their records they had not received a petition from Elcora yet....this was exactly the answer I was looking for before I blew this thing up.
So yeah, Elcora is a sneaky bitch with no integrity whatsoever. I know this is a game but I play it will the same honesty I have IRL and what Elcora did tells me a lot about the kind of person he is. I mentioned to DeM the whole incident and unfortunately it doesn't look like they wanted to do a damn thing about it. If it was my guild his ass would be gone, one because it gives DeM a bad name, and two because that item is not worth the bad name...especially since mediocre Warlocks are a dime a dozen.
I learned my lesson. I will put it on leader-only if I ever do pick-ups for this thing again, but I doubt I will. Easier to just duo it now and not worry about it. However, this thread is not about me learning my lesson. This thread is about Elcora the Douch-bag, and a warning to all on Befallen that if you invite this low life just what you are getting into.
