As far as bragging, sure, why not?
We never pretended to be hardcore, we just knew we could get 'er done.
Take a guild in a PST time slot that only raids ~12 hours a week and get them thru VP. Not easy.
Virulence finished VP Feb 1.
Triumph killed pawbuster Jan 29, finished VP the end of May.
Had to kill off Druushk and Nexona after the fixes to them.
All in all, a fun time. And yeah, I miss it, but am getting lots done IRL, so no complaints.

Big fat false on the Virulence on Feb 1rst amigo. Vir cleared it before the patch for epics which was january 26th. I dont remember what date it was specifically but we were in VP in first week of December and cleared it in January midmonth sometime.

I based the date on a post in the original progression thread.
Here's the link, the date is 2/1.
Previous page, same date, has ya marked for downing Silverwing.
I suppose it's reasonable to assume the post was made a few days after the kills?

Regardless, our progression was reasonable considering the late start we got on the expansion (needed several new recruits to make it possible to progress) and the few hours a week we spent raiding.

Ya it doesnt really matter one way or another. But this time of the month I have a lot of down time at work so I have to find ways to amuse myself.

But on that note, once every server had 2-5 guilds that cleared VP, every strat for every mob is on 100+ different forums, people are fully geared in overpowered instance gear, its really not even worth commenting on clearing it. I never was one to even brag that we cleared VP in January cuz it was like guild number 20+ to do it, and it was second to last server WW to do it. IMO that negates any real bragging rights attached to it. I could use the old argument that we were a brand new guild in RoK, with zero contested gear from the previous tier to help us, but ya whatever it doesnt really matter

Only thing that really matters is that you are enjoying the game.

Regardless of what anyone else thinks, Triumph kicked ass. My time with them was the best I've had in EQ2.

I joined Khef after the fallout because I didn't want it to end but quickly realized that I don't have enough time for their more aggressive schedule... I ended up transferring to unrest to be with a couple friends. The good news? Master prices on unrest are about 1/4 of what they were on Befallen
