For shits and giggles a few weeks ago, I untagged a 70 alt and raided with a pickup raid. It was an interesting experience, nothing at ALL like raiding in Fallen, and got me thinking... what's it actually like raiding in your guild? Befallen has, what, 15+ guilds that take part in raids now?

Um...

Well, I learned a new word (increments) as certain items are to be bid on increments of ten DKP for each bid (in this case it was a fabled 1H axe.) I didn't know what it meant and then an officer explained! They understood though.

Oh. And I took lots of screenshots.

Also there's usually someone cracking a joke once in a while, we quiet down when needed for obvious reasons but all in all we still have fun because heck, it's a game.

I don't raid much but like I said this happened at the last raid I went to.

Allow me to clarify. We tend to make fun of Godz in vent.

Been raiding with a few diff guilds, usually through alliances and pick up stuff.

My first real raiding guild was Five Rings (Unrest) as my necro. Vent was heavily used, people talked throughout the entire raid, both raid instructions and just BSing.

Due to some RL issues, I left Five rings and floated around in some minor guilds until I landed in Mercy Killers (Unrest). They were a newish guild that was raiding, and they were a ton of fun. Also very vocal in vent and alot of talking and joking around.

I listen into The Downward Sprial (Nektulos) vent alot, and they're pretty quiet, usually just raid instructions in vent, tho a few jokes float in and out.

Currently raiding with Shoukin (Nektulos) and their vent is pretty dead. They are damn efficient raiders, mowing through everything with minimal instructions. They've been there, done, that, taken names, and moving on. Its great, I love it!

Well, our raid "time" is at 4pm PST. I usually log on at about 3:45 to get some broker shit done before we set up. We usually sit around until amost 4:30 waiting for enough people to log on. Once enough people log on we zone in, usually around 5:00. Once inside we all know what we're doing, we've all done it a zillion times, but we have to wait about 10 minutes between each pull so we can have the encounter explained to us again, only thing I can figure out is tradition or something. We have raided without a MT since about may and have cleared more zones than most of the server. I'm pretty sure we're "recruting" a guardian but nobody looks for one. We're waiting for one to fall in our lap I think. After loot is distributed and rkp updated, everyone logs off leaving about 4 of us online for the rest of the night. It's a good thing that all the contested spawn between 4 and 6pm.....oh wait.....none of them do.....
