This server? Empty? What?

Here's one thing that confuses everybody's favorite pink iksar:

People saying this server is dead/dying/no one's there/etc.

I see it generally in lower-level channels sometimes as my alts. "Why is no one on, etc." "This server is dead, blah blah." "They should merge us all already." "This GAME is dead." It makes Rhos sad.

BUT! I don't think it's so true, myself. What do YOU think?

I don't really think it's any worse than it's been before. I've got a t3 coercer, a t4 bruiser, a t5 brigand, and a t6 necro, and I really don't have any problems getting groups on any of them. I think it's just that with the EoF zones, people are more spread out and the individual zones seem a bit more vacant.

lol if people grouped with you on your sk and knew how much of a nub you are, they wouldn't group with your alts. but something else-

they same the game is dead~ well, the better population of the game is 70, and the people who populate the lower levels, generally consist of alts, at least my experience. I've managed to get a zerker from 1-43 in about 4 days with no problems grouping at all, the fact that im playing with a healer the entire time by my side makes it a bit better, but generally when we say in the level chat that we are looking for more people, we find the dps pretty quickly, 40's seem to be a bit more dead than 30's but we're still going hard. its the same thing as it was in eq1, if you were around when the game first came out: hella groups at lowbie levels, and as the game moves on, the player base moves on to higher levels. it will always be the same on all servers, but befallen is populated enough, play with friends, find good people to stick grouping with them.

in any sense, good to see that you are retired jikko, the time in ec that i was there and you were as well, you truely proved that you didn't know how to play your class well at all, and that you lack the ability to play a mmo and excel at it. =) i hope you get shot irl

The newbie population of every MMO is always scarce latter in it's life, it's just the nature of the games. Even WoW is like this, a few months back I got Burning Crusade, started a new character, as the NEW RACE in the NEW STARTING ZONE and saw about 6 people my first day, and I play on Azjul Nerub which is listed as a high population server. My Warlock is level 20 and I have yet to be able to find a group.

Then there is Befallens problem with the high end, we have a very small talent pool here. When EOF hit a few guilds completely fell apart and some of them lost the best within their core. This is when they induct new members from lesser guilds or get desperate and make a pulse the only requirement for joining.

It will take these guilds months, hell even years to get back to where they were. You can't just rip someone out of the tradeskill instance wearing full mastercrafted and with only 40 AA and expect them to perform as well as the last person did of their class. These people have to be trained and they have to be geared. There are still talented players out there that we don't know about, they are farming instances, they are sitting around all day tradeskilling, and they are out in the middle of nowhere harvesting their assess off. We just have to find them.

The greatest players are the ones that can teach.

i was recruited to EC almost immediately after EoF released, while it was still the dominant guild on the server by far, lacking in only tanks. many of the people that made that guild the powerhouse it once was pretty much unanimously agreed that i was the best SK they had ever seen. i perform better in a PvE environment than any other active SK on this server and you know it. i say active because redzen still pwns me.

in any case, a persons ability to play an online game sure is a good measure of their worth as a human being.

in conclusion, talk out of your ass more you fucking troll.
