stats on a weapon are meaninless. You could give me a weapon that had NO stats but a sweet min/max and i would use it any day over a weapon with awesome stats but a craptastic min/max.

Which one are you talking about here? The delay has nothing to do with crits. Long delay is good for procs. Wide min/max ratio is the good thing for crits. Usually a long delay means it will also have a wide min/max ratio but not always.

When talking about short delay weapons a sucky max is implied. There are no 2 second delay weapons with a 1-200 spread(example).

The damage proc seemed pretty weak, the delay and the spread on on the Carotid not that nice. It has a 9% chance of proc'ing for less than 50 damage. Since I'm tanking all the instances almost nightly, I'll wait till one drops, get it, and then parse em both out.

I already have 65% double attack chance... another 5% is nice, but not if its not hitting as hard or as high as Nathsar, might not make up the difference. I'll have to play with em both and see.

I wouldn't like it as much due to the 1.11 second max haste. It's close to spam range, but not close enough.

Yeah, there are so many weapons out there right now i kinda just fluctuate back forth between Nathsar and Anaphylaxis until something better drops. I was looking at that segmented one from doomcoil, and the cold tooth blade from levithan. /shrug
