Not true. Depends on how good your MT is and how much hate transfer/gain they have. Many times I open fights with jugger/OW/turmoil and our MT will hold it. Sometimes it will switch to me for a second or two, but he grabs it right back. Once in a great while (I assume when his abilities are down) I'll get it and hold for awhile, but it's not a big deal. Healers heal through mobs and I wear plate armor. If it's a named fight and I'm full offensive I may have to *gasp* through up temp defensive buffs (adrenaline rules) and tower shield. I do die on occasion, but it's ok. I died with a great big smile on my face.
