I just hit 49 percent crit and 77 percent auto attack solo and I'm still rocking 60 percent avoid in defense with my shitty buckler of the howler... Without VP gear has anyone been able to get a higher crit percentage than that? Not all of my stuff has updated yet as Im still wearing my grim earing and a few of my eof set fabled pieces in this profile. My whole DPS set should update tonight. If I'm missing a crit item that will up me more on crit + auto attack dont be shy.

77 percent auto attack? You mean double attack?
You get 60% from AA's. I don't see how you are getting another 17% solo, unless you have mayung's hammer (which isn't equipped on your eq2players as of right now).

If I wanted to give up a bunch of hp, mitigation and whatever else, pretty sure I (or about any lvl 80 zerker) can get 49 crit and 77 DA.

How much +CA do you have? What's your AA set up? (It's blocked on your eq2players page)

Edit: and all this is worthless. What do you parse.

Completely unrelated but one time I was giving a lower level Zerker advice and answering his questions. I asked him "What do you parse?" and he replied "My fights"

rofl... wtf??? you should never lose anything I mean this goes without saying but just in case.... let me help you out ... and yes I meant double attack.

Here is a tip... Unless your MTing (And I highly doubt you are I personally off tank...) Macro your gear you should have a full set of tanking gear and a full set of dps gear.. Yes I have mayongs hammer but theres a ton of + double attack gear which gets me to 77 percent.. my dps gear is a mix of t8 fabled and leg gear....

I actually have two sets of fabled tanking gear as well (diffrence is mostly in jewlery although I do use proc codex pants sometimes) one set for max avoidance and one set for max hate proc I have three macro's for those... one for max hate proc one for max avoidance and one for a mix of both... (I also have two of the same jewlery pieces with diffrent adornments but you dont have to go that crazy...)

Im really only interested in if I missed a crit piece... yes the + CA is nice man but parse it out... Crit for a beserker is king if you know what your doing...... right now without my t8 buckler Im rolling a low + 100 CA.

On trash and single named fights where you know the tank isnt going to get whiped you should ALWAYS be in dps gear so I hope this helps ;)

No matter what you parse now if you do this you will parse higher ROK is full of crit CA and double attack gear that you dont need to even raid to get so no excuse...

P.S. Waiting on the Acendant shoulders.... Jarsath never freaking drop for me... the shoulders Im wearing have crit on them just for fyi I have full set of EOF fabled and almost the exact same jewlery as you. Also 2.5 sec delay weapon??? Ive been looking at the thing for a while you like it??

WTF crack are you on, if i swaped to the gear you use for crit and DA i would loose massive HP and im sure lizerd would too.

Lol Skel did you not read my post?? My gear is Macro'ed... Do I use the dps gear in fights I have to off tank?? Nope... I don't lose a single thing with this setup get it?? You MT and like I said in my post this isnt going to help a MT at all its mostly for beserkers and we all know most beserkers off tank like myself... I have a ton of gear I spefically logged out in that gear to show you what my DPS gear macro is... I dont even use that setup to instance tank its strictly for raiding..... I mean I thought every real raid beserker worth anything was doing this I guess not... I understand the confusion though man... from a MT perspective you would never do this...

Well every once in awhile the MT goes down unexpectedly. And if we are not the MT (and dead), then it is our job to pick it up. And I'm not about to sacrifice 1k+ hp, avoidance, or anything else for 6% crit or whatever. And we can no longer swap gear during battle so that's out of the question. imo a "real raid berserker" job #1 is to tank first (even if you are not the MT or offtank, but to pick it up if you have to) then #2 is to dps. The minimal gain in dps < chance to save the raid from wipe.

You asked "has anyone been able to get a higher crit percentage than that". The answer is, Yes. If I wanted to. But I don't.

My 2.5 sec delay weapon parses higher than mayungs hammer. It's certainly not the best in game atm, I'm patiently waiting for one of the few great 4.o sec ones (ie wormtooth)

When you swap gear to your uber offensive set up, how much dps to gain exactly?

Macros dont mean jack with no gear swaping in combat anymore. You are either ready to take hits or ready to fold over like a scout.

Lol dude Im not wearing chain first off so my mit is negligble and I only lose parry and health and honestly thats just through jewlwery and adornments mostly... jewlery comes to around 1k health... I dont actually think its possible to get higher solo than 49 at the moment unless you have VP gear btw so tell me what crit gear I'm missing not just yeah I could do that lol jesus... You die to non VP trash Skel? I doubt it... so that argument is mute... It depends on the mob and what the chances are of the tank dieing though honestly.. and fyi I macro back to most named fights and yes everyone knows you cant swicth gear mid fight... Its true this approach does require that you not be a nub and since I am on the bazaare I guess you just auto assume I'm one lol so fair enough... Also guess what with very little parry on the dps jewelrey and my shitty buckler of the howler I'm way over 60 percent avoidance... Im not in VP yet and I probably wouldnt do this in there but I will have to see how hard they are hitting...

I wasnt always on the bizzare though and yeah unless we were learning something we even had our healers dpsing and the crew I rolled with never whiped hardly ever lol..... Oh btw and yes I agree a tanks job first and formost is always to tank I just personally like to be as l33t as possible in my current role the day I start dieing in Thuuga becuase the tank died to a trash mob and I couldnt handle it I guess I will rethink this ;) (Eq2flames FTW!!!)

How much dps? In raid Im with all of my potions and all my group buffs??? You do realize almost every piece of gear I wear in that profile has crit on it right?? 49 percent solo... 77 percent DA SOLO... its substantial...

and I have +335 CA damage. I could probably have gotten it higher had I not sold some of this quested crap to the vender.

I'm curious how you get way over 60% avoidance. What's your AA set up? I have the t8 buckler with much higher block and still about 57%. Maybe you had guarded vehemence up?
