Hi, I’m leveling a berserker, I hate the solo timeline, and prefer to run instances, eg EQ2i Dungeon Timeline

I'm looking for decent items along the way to 70, and then from 70-80 gear is covered elsewhere. I am interested chiefly in items I won't find on the broker or can't cheaply obtain better on the broker, since it's super easy to look there for upgrades. I have only looked up to 60 so far, and will share my research on 60-70 if there's interest. Please reply if you have any additional suggestions...

Get to max level, then gear.

Until then, use the cheapest, most accessible passing gear until then.

Thanks. I'm not locking xp to camp gear. I'm also not sprinting to 70 on brokered collections or min/maxing solo xp quests. The premise is that instances are fun, and if I'm going to run instances, I may as well know where tank gear at my level drops.

For example, Nest looks forgettable for tanks, but that dagger in Poet's is amazing for level 54 if you're steamrolling instances with family/alts/mentoring.

all i can tell ya is mastercraft is pretty stable gear, and when you get to 62 get the droag kukri through the droag talon collection was a pretty good wep for me up until like 68.

Thanks for the suggestion, Fonil, I'll check it out.

Skel, I read and understood Vydar perfectly. It was pretty clear to me that he also would pick up whatever was along the way to stay viable. If I'm playing in instances, this stuff qualifies as both cheapest (=free) and accessible. As for who cares, you certainly don't have to - I think the thread is pretty clearly labeled.
