I never realized before just how much of a difference getting switched to MT group helps our dps. Usually my OT group is me, monk, mystic, fury, dirge, illus... and I usually parse around 4500 on any given zone. Last night I got switched to MT which was me, coercer, dirge, warden, templar, defiler... and the LOWEST I parsed was 4500(except a named or two) and I was able to spike around 6200 alot, and once even to 7200ish. On singles and groups of two. In MT group I rocked the parses in PR, Korsha, SoH(easy zones but still rest of the raid has mythicals too!) being as high as #1 zonewide in korsha while MT the OK instead of on adds, and top 3 in the others.

Of course (for easy content), besides the obvious of buckler reversal proccing twice as much, weapon aegis actually going off (150dps or so there) and maybe 100ish dps from ripostes, you actually get proper buffs and RoA as well. On top of that, being the first to engage as MT tends to add 100-150 ish DPS to my zonewide, give or take. Not to mention reactive procs, which mean alot too, depending on your gear. All in all a parse as MT can't really be compared with a parse as DPS/OT, they are totally different scenarios.

thats the problem with most zerks, they compare their parses with guards when they're not tanking and get all emo about their DPS when the truth is they should be above a guard almost always unless he just has better buffs than you. guards have DPS spikes as well so don't think you'll always be above them.

I mted SoH tonight and did 600or so more zw than usual, so theres that lol.
Usual group = Ranger, Mystic, Brigand, Assn, Pally, Serk, yeah i know its funny-haha.
So yeah I sometimes get hemo from that setup !! wewt hax. But anyways group tonight was Coercer, Defiler, Templar, Serk, Troub, Swash. Me and swash got alacrity and jcap abuse, so it was hella awesome.
That will rarely ever happen again though, although i like MTing, and the buffs and Shit, I would rather OT/dps, but we have a 2nd guard for that so its pretty much emokid time.

I know, an I know, he had 2 dirges as of 1 month ago now we have none.
I am top 5 on our parse in every zone we do in that god forsaken bastard child of a group they put me in, sometimes top 4, and sometimes even top 3, only one of our assns and one of our swashes consistantly beat me. I know this is not a good thing but the guild im in is mostly inexperienced people as far as raiding goes, so i guess they figure if i do more than w/o buffs than the dps classes with buffs, then theres no reason to give me buffs,which I guess I can live with.
