Damn racist guildies. You should go there and steal their bike.
As far as the helm thing, it just blows seeing it *just* proc and then it goes away in the same second
Also my ZW sucked (less than 6, greater than 5) from PR and I wasn't tanking it, so I left my epeen in my pants.

Re: Random Berserker Zonewides
Bumping this thread with something different.
Tangrin:
Was MT. Fully defensive gear setup, wore tower shield full time, defensive stance full time as well, defensive buffs.
Group was Berserker, Coercer, Warden, Templar, Defiler, Dirge.
Was a very long fight (11 mins?) because we didn't memwipe mob or anything, we were playing it as if GU47 had already hit and only getting beehives once it started healing and it healed tons. :p
Last fight was like half of the time but nonetheless our Guard destroyed me with a 4k parse or whatever he posted in the Guard forum, tower shield FTL (and was my first time so was prolly a lil more cautious than I needed be!)
EDIT: I also completely fucked up and tanked him with Trak cloak, hence was fucking oop alot of the time due to Adrenaline abuse. Would have been alot more pleasant with Cloak of Woven Vines, even though that trade costs like 350 hp and a damage reduction clicky.

Re: Random Berserker Zonewides
Haha slick!
Maybe one of these days I'll tank that hooker on the zerk ;)
Nice parse though considering all the disarms and fears. My parses on this mob are pretty much fucking garbage. I joust in to pew pew then pussy out with bow. Rinse and repeat.

I didn't change spec, I wore a tower shield in buckler spec. Probably would have been smarter to have Reflexes on hand since the STA line was doing nothing for me but you can't really change specs while running to do a contested mob! It was also my first time tanking him - not much thought went into it except our Guard telling me hey, you're tanking Tangrin and I'm gonner sit and watch.
AGI spec wouldn't have gotten me any extra DPS anyhow (though like I said reflexes might have been cool) and WIS spec well, ugh, I don't think I could bring myself to spec WIS.

Re: Random Berserker Zonewides
I don't know if there's any reason why we haven't seen any SoH parses yet, but... Since I haven't seen a SOH zonewide parse in here yet, I thought I'd add one. Might as well appreciate our dps while we can; I fear they're goning lower it with the next expansion.
The first is my zonewide in Shard of Hate. It includes all trash, Demetrius Crane, Malevolence and Ire; I removed the other named due to their mechanics.
I was tanking atleast 1-2 mobs at any give time; I was always in front of them. My Inquisitor had to leave early, so they were swapped with a Warden at the sisters.
I died a few times in the zone, so I could've done better.
Group Setup - INQ/ Illusionist/ Dirge/ Assassin/ Berserker/ Ranger
Sub Warden for INQ for half the zone
SoH ZW - 7072 dps
Below is just a fun fight I thought I'd add in. Was 10k stable, but couldn't bring myself to cut off the parse until the mobs stopped coming.
SoH Trash Fight - 9510 dps
I know these are probably going to be hard to see, so I appologise for that.

Re: Random Berserker Zonewides
Wow, I'm amazed at the parses being posted here. I find myself in a slump when it comes to dps. The better tanking gear I have acquired, I've noticed my dps going south. Since I'm OT, and or ready to take over in case of any mishaps, I don't switch out gear like I used to. Now it's just O stance, and SoH buckler, then VG + D stance if required.
I have all but 4 spells as M1s in T8. I'm only missing Turmoil, Beserker Rage, Stunning Bellow and my D stance. I have my mythical as well.
As far as group makeup goes, I've not had the same group setup class wise enough to know where I'm lacking in the dps department.
AOE mod, DA mod, Crit & Haste are all golden when in group. Haste is often over 200 and DA over 130. My DPS mod is horrible though. I know that's having a huge effect on my parsing.
I guess I'm wondering if I'm actually trying "too" hard. For instance with so much haste on our 3.0 delay mythical, do I need to time my CAs now? I used to just spam them whenever anything was up, but now I have to wonder.
Anyway help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Either I'm doing something wrong here, or my group setup just isn't working out.

Re: Random Berserker Zonewides
any delay above 2.5s you need to time your CAs no matter what your haste. Your probably just delaying your auto attack which is where the majority of your dps should come from, around 60% of your total dps.
Whats your dps mod at? For me i very very very very rarely take off my tynnonium ring of strength and i am usually in a group with a dirge, zerker and inquis for dps mod buffs. Even going from say 130 dps mod to 160dps will still give you a 10% increase in auto attack dmg, which is 5-6% more autoattack dmg. Only a bit after 160 would i consider taking it off for something else. There aren't a lot of rings i would take over it and none of them have dropped yet.
what is your group set up as well? Usually just need a dirge to put out decent numbers.

Re: Random Berserker Zonewides
it's generally group makeup, i havent changed anything about my playstyle but i can see my parses more than half themselves due to fluctuating groups/buffs. i haven't posted any zonewides lately because it's pretty much never that i have an optimal group these days, especially with the missing dirges.
in SoH for a mythical equipped zerker, it's all about how many mobs you can pull in and survive.

I've heard this many times, but it's always been in relation to scouts. I've never had anyone tell me to time my CA's due to the cast times of them and the fact things queue. Are people who are parsing the huge parses timing their CAs?

Yes group makeup is the key. I've not had the fortune to run with a Coercer or Inquis too much on raids. And every wants a Dirge too.
What about CA casting orders? I normally start with the quickest refresh ones first, then work my way up. Maybe I am thinking about this too hard. It still comes down to gear and whose in your group most likely, but I want to better this toon anyway I can, so any thoughts posted here is welcome.
