Because we do enough damage already. Purpose of DWing is what? To do more DPS... Yeah we are good there.

We need snap agro and survivability, not DPS.

you're not gonna be "the" tank no matter how hard you try to ask for it, so why try? may as well ask for something useful.

Clarification:

1) Shields don't absorb damage, they prevent it.
2) Bucklers prevent a shit-ton less damage than "equivalent" Tower Shields do.

If you don't believe me, parse your zonewide avoidance with a buckler and with a tower and compare.

Note - I'm not talking about being able to do one over the other.

Well if you want to be useful in DPS you may as roll another class.

Yeah Zerkers can parse, but they do a better job when you aren't dead. (lollers look at me in leather DPS gear in O stance... Oops got agro)

I've got a pretty slick setup with my gear as it is and I've been able to tank everything so far in O stance with the exception of Phara.

My numbers are good and snap agro isn't that bad of an issue (unless orange mobs... *grumble*) because I'm pumping out enough DPS and my agro transfer is good enough that it doesn't leave me.

I think that if the 300% hate on HP regen was changed on the epic to something that helped out the survivability, we'd have a killer weapon.
