I'm taking on my guild leader for the 100th time. I lose everytime unless he gives me a break and doesn't use his wards.

I'm a 58 zerk 68 AA's

He's 59 sk 80 AA's


In the past I've taken him on with Tower shield and WIS,INT spect or 2w same spec. Monday im switching to buckler once my respec cost goes back to 10g from 10p

Do you guys have any advice for me? Tactics? Is it even possible to win?

No, you will lose to an SK every time as a berserker going solo with equal quality gear.

good SK are a very bad match for berserkers, they are really tought to duel.

on another note, if your GL is an SK change guild no real guild has an SK in their roster (except NPU :p)

I doubt you can beat him, unless he sucks or you have much better gear. If you want to do your best, use buckler spec, increase the duration of your stun and stifle through the eof AAs, and make sure that you are timing your interrupts/stuns/stifles to get maximum effectiveness out of them. Pretty much if you can't get him down in the first 10-15 seconds while you keep him chain stun/stifled/interrupted and have rampage running, you are most likely fucked. If you don't think you can beat him that quickly or it goes on longer, use a phantom adornment on your weapon to help drain his power and then pray that between Unyielding Will and Vision of Madness that you can last long enough to wear out his power pool. Also, fight in offensive, as the amount of damage you gain will be more against an sk than they will against you.

it's all about timing your stun, knockback, stifle, interrupts and using gut roar if you have it.

I don't have gutroar but I admit I don't understand it. It says NPC profession spell one time, what exactly does it do?


Can i use a phantom adornment at level 50-60?

OK by timing my stuns and stifles you guys mean keeping a look at his spells and as soon as one goes down send another up? I can do that, also since I'm a barbarian I have an extra stun. In the first 15 seconds I can get him into orange, but his ward is AA maxed so is his heal crit. The second I tap that ward he shoots back up to full health. I haven't fought him since I got open wounds but I can't imagine it making too much of a difference, infact it'll kill me when that ward is up. The more I hit him the more he heals.

I have 50 points in warrior tree, how should I go into buck spec.

4-4-8-8-2? what about my secondary line. I was going to go INT all the way down but I'm open to suggestions.


BTW he has better gear. Most of it is the same armor but his jewelry and shield,sword, charms ect are mostly legendary and fabled.

SKs are mixed range casters so if you see him move to range and start casting then use your single target taunt/interrupt. inside melee range i tend to hit a stun and toss in a few CAs then a shield bash followed up by our green stifle while moving back in then EW-frenzied blows and then its AE and ranged cause most people are on the run at that point..

yeah right lol equal geared sk always beating a serker, that makes me laugh:P

its all about player skill and of course what aa spec you are, ive dueled a ton of the best sks on my server raid geared or not and beaten all the ones ive come against some with better gear and some with not as good gear, it doesnt matter but one tip wait til your lvl 80 you will fucking own his shit with adrenaline;)

and btw good aa spec is 448 str 44881 stam and 45881 int

Fought the other sk in guild, lower level fewer AA"s

Lost all for all. I can't explain how much this is truly pissing me off. I do better against the 63brig. Can't beat her either but still. Between losing and our useless zerk tree, pointless group buffs, and lackluster CA's I'm getting really fed up
