Default MAX DPS CA combinations

Hello there all.

Can you all please share on the best CA combination that is possible that you all use to get max DPS off the first few CAs.

I know myself when engaging in a multiple mob fight, (there are some in VoES and Chardock) before I pull I hit Turmoil, pull and engage, hit Open Wounds, and then go and start my CA rotation I never lose agro and I parse really well.

I am in a Tier 1 RoK raiding guild, and my group make up is pretty much Illu, Dirge, Ass, and 2 Healers. I am parsing mid 2.5k and above on single mob fights in RoK, and parse at 3K sometimes. In SoH I can I think the hit rates are increased due tothe fact that I can parse 3.2K consistently. But I want to parse 3K to 4K on a consistent basis on single target mobs, I know it can be done but I am wondering what I have to do to reach that total.

I know its not easy but any inside information would be great. I am finding it hard to find Zerkers in game that are in VP that I can ask questions and get ideas from. Pretty much they all betrayed already.

no CA rotation is going to affect your parses that much as a zerker, even if you optimize your CAs and time your autos you may see a 5% gain at most.

in CoH your DPS is higher on trash because they're white con mobs vs all other RoK epics are yellow con, meaning you will hit lower level mobs more consistently, in other words try to keep a warden and dirge in your group.

I think that your CA combination does effect a bit of your play style, especailly when grouped with a shaman and the reactive heals they place on you.

I have my Macro setup to always hit first with the green AoE taunt, and then time the shield knockback next to buy some time on the heals just in case something goes wrong with the healer and he is not ready. I then start a heroic oportunity and place some of our weak debuffs on them just in case the DPS gets theirs resisted. Then I go through the rotation.

Their is some my method to the madness, I am just wondering if any other zerker out there has anything up their sleeves that helps out in fights.

This is my CA rotation. On pulls i prebuff OW and turmoil and weapon counter.

group encounters i start w/ the second bar.
solo i start w/ the first.

and i hit jugg every time it is up.

Also to help w/ timing your CA's this is a helpful plugin for ACT, Advanced Combat Tracker :: View topic - Single/Double Attack detection/notification v1.0.1.2

oh and the doll in slot #4 is from the ring out of SOH that summons a dolls that heals you, so i worked that into my rotation so i hit it everytime its up.

Along with getting the "beep" thing in act worked out, you should see which CAs have the highest hit rate (9/10 times I'll use a shield bash or Ram at the top of the fight to snag agro since these days taunts resist so damn much).

After that I like to throw in the the debuff and DoT attack(s) and start to cycle in the auto-attack with random CAs.

Seems to work out pretty well.

(as a side note I always find it really neat to see how people arrange spells on the bars)

I will post mine as soon as I get home. But somehow mu UI is set up just like Onedustinone.

Ok you can flame me for this but what are the shield tye spell icons in your Control 10 and 11 slots, I dont have those up, maybe I have a diferent spec then you, but I dont recognize those. Maybe I have a diferent UI with a diferent graphic for them.

Endo, I kick off just like you with a shield knock back attack, but I see that you hit Ram after that, don't you think the cast on Ram is too high to justify the cost. If i am thinking of the same spell, Ram is the AoE 3 second cast spell. Usually I like to hit with my knock back, 1 high damage attack, and then go to debuffs. After that its just a cycle.

Its good to see that other zerkers have generally the same setup.

I think they're just one of the generic button icons you can choose for macros.

yeah im trying to get my timeing down now that i have my epic. When i was using the NSS i could hit 3 CA's inbetween auto-attacks and was doing between 1200-1900 dps depending on group set up. Now with my epic seems like i can only get 1 but my dps has droped but it has been more constant at 1400 area most of the time. Plus i need to get my dps mod raised its only at 8% atm need to get that neck adornment that raises it 12 more so it will be 20 sure my dps will get better.

You also should have the bow adornment as well. Combined with Berserk and adornments you should easily reach 50-dps constantly.

Naw, Ram is our hardest hitting CA. (I forget what the EoF one was called, but our set gear had focus to it, just like our set gear does now for Ram reducing the casting time on it). So the faster I cast that little gem the faster it comes back up.

As far as the 2 shields go, my guess is either target macros or gear macros.
