Die less. Getting +5 Hate Positions is basically going to get you the hate you need to pickup anything. The only problem is, as an OT if you're too close to the Avatar and have been actively attacking the Avatar, and you use it for adds, you just died.

I'm just really curious on why they wouldn't be able to do a positional hate gain proc. Would that really fuck up game balance that much? +5 positions is nice, but it doesn't guarantee me at the top. (Yah I get the whole die less part, but when shit gets hairy and the MT goes down and you're not on the Avatar at all, GG trying to pick that shit up with +5 when you have 2+ groups on the Avatar. I don't want to HAVE to stack Rescue and Insolence to KNOW I'll be at the top.).

There have been countless times where I've hit rescue when needing to snap (coming back from death or something) and it doesn't pull.

Basically what I'll need to *know* that I'll hit the top is rescue, the new insolence and the avatar weapon with the rescue clikie on it. I sure hope that I have all 3 ready to go after being rezzed.

slighty bummed that its only for the mythicals though. Those of us not exiled on a pvp server wont be gettin those for a long time.

Just curious but does this +5 position thing simply remove the 20% hate that was being added? If so i might not be sooooo swift on it, maybe we could get like 5-10% hate and get that (because as Calagin so well noted, some fights ... in specific avatar fights, that might make Gibing something you CANT do even though in the past you could ... i dont know for sure myself having not fought avatars but hey he generally knows more about other peoples classes than they do so ill take his word that it will suck there).

you can simply swap out the mythical before casting insolence to avoid the rescue

as for the hate gain, you all do realize there is str4 and i'm betting almost all of you are at str3 currently meaning you can easily buy more hate if you want it, don't force it on the rest of us.

i figure the change to insolence just fits our class. if i wanted easymode shit i'd play guard.

What change do you mean? The AE rescue? Taking adds AND the named at the same time?

You've gotta be joking me right now. This isn't a snap agro fix, it's an experiment in raiding. I'll wait until it hits test to see what the deal is, but as it is right now it a) doesn't guarantee me #1 hate like the other fighter classes have b) if I do get #1 hate on an add near a main mob you can bet after dropping this in I'll have the named on me too.

Snap agro that won't be a cluster fuck isn't hard to do.

if you're worried about getting the named either position yourself out of range of insolence, train your main tank to rescue it back onto him or simple swap out the mythical for those situations you don't need the +5 hate position snap for when you cast it then swap it back in.

i'm not sure why it's such a hard concept, it's a versatile ability if it's implemented this way and of course we really don't need a form of reinforcements.

Shit off the top of my head in a raiding situation I can think of times where I'm near the MT enough that this would hit the named:

Byzola
Overking
Avatar of Justice
Avatar of Disease

Nexona (some of those whore glowies can get away from you ... gay pathing)
Druusk (range is a *maybe* on this one)

So removing an ability I used often to snag up adds before anyone touched them now turns into "oh shit is it safe to cast this?". Swapping in and out mythicals for the fucking lose.

So before you say it's not a hard concept that we don't need a real snap agro tool on the target that we are targeting (instead of +5 on AE) you may want to check your facts.

And then you risk the possibility of Insolence being down when you actually need snap aggro. And tbh, its not even a real snap aggro tool.
