Sticky is for official forums. Besides, as has been said in the past, if a topic is worth being stickied, we can request that from Niber just fine. I mean, if we wind up giving that to say more than 5 or 6 of the worthiest threads...

As has been said before - the job is Hoodhop's, but he doesn't want it. No other Zerk that deserves it, even wants or is willing to take it apparently. Maybe the hardcore are too busy enjoying their real life (RL CARD!) and keep their virtual time restricted to in-game and not forum babysitting.

I say that if Lyger is up for it, then yes. IMO, he has helped Sony w/ suggestions for the class and so far in TSO - I'm fucking thankful. Truly. Some of you shoot-first-ask-questions-later zerks should maybe consider at least PMing the guy with a "So far I was wrong" since I know we won't see it in this forum.

So yeah, even though Lyger isn't part of a server-dominating guild, I think he fits the role fine. You toss out any other name and it will probably be a lame title for an undeserving peep that we'll be repeating this same debate about down the road. So if not Lyger, then wait for your Zerk-Messiah to make his presence known later, IMO.

No one is going to be babysitting anything. honestly we don't even need a zerker to be mod, just someone who can sticky shit.

I'm pretty sure nibber doesnt want to come in here and sticky something when he can just appoint someone to do that.

We collectively said in both of those threads that we were fine without one. We don't need moderation, not many topics need to be stickied, and we can easily get a worthy one stickied without a mod if needed.

But /meh - I already gave my opinion and vote if the community insists on a mod.

i never said we needed moderation. just in the case that we want something stickied we have someone to do it w/o having to go through nibber.

it would just be nice to have someone to do that so we don't have to have thousands of threads about what AA's are best.
