Macro to equip weapon in secondary slot

I am new to macros, how do I set up a macro to equip a weapon in to the secondary slot.

I want to set up my casting order to be able to use the bash ability that requires a shield, but switch back to dual wield mode after it is cast.

Is this possible?

No, you can't switch 2 items in 1sec.

Press O and go to macros, make new, from the drop down menu select equip item, drag the said item to that slot, and select which slot you want it to be. But you still have to wait the delay it takes to swap another item after that, it's like 3 secs?

I have them set in order on my hotbar so as I have a macro that equips the shield for bash, , the next icon is a normal CA, then the next one is a macro to equip my DW weapon before firing the CA. This gets over the delay for changing items and the shield I pop in is the RE2 buckler, so I get some Crit/DA or whatever it has on it, I forget atm, whilst wielding it

Harbring along with VG will be changed tho, atleast according to Aeralik, but it's not high on list so it might take time.

I dunno yet but i remember him saying those bucklers would get revamped sometime.

it was the item dude fyreflyte (sp?) that said he wanted to turn them into kite shields
