Imo tanks are kinda balanced as it is right now... All tho some smaller changes can be done.

SK. Sure sk:s are putting out the numbers as it is now... but imo they should do so aswell... since they are a hybrid tank and dps.
Pallys need some better heals so they can heal others abit better (i know pallys dont agree with this but its kinda much how it should be imo...) guard and zerk the 2 pure tank classes one more defensiv the other more offensiv...

This is how it should be imo. And i feel that this nerf will hurt the zerk class more than the guard class... Alot more even. . .

Ower is spot on with what he said here. The biggest problem with this change is that when they make it so all tanks have to tank in defensive and all of them parse junky when they do....why would you ever want to use a more offensive style tank?

Exactly. So, everyone is going to reroll as an SK because that's the only way they'll get groups. Even though Shadowknights are losing about 27% of their dps, they will still be parsing way, way higher than Berserkers can.

And no, they shouldn't be able to do that. Hybrid tank my ass. They have 10x the survivability of any other tank and 2-3x the dps. No matter how you slice it, that's stupid.

Though, I'm sure there will be workarounds. Trak shield + Executioner's Anger + Coercer/Dirge = Tanking in Offensive Stance. (In theory, at least.)

They aren't loosing 27%dps, but something like 5/10% of AoE dps... Sk will still rule the world after LU...

They are losing X amount of dps from their AoEs. One of there AoE's took a 27% hit. I think the average across the board is between 15 and 18% but again thats AoE only, their non AoE combat arts and AA are untouched.

I spoke with one of the guys over at kazam. They said that it is more than possible that the fighter revamp will be pushed back to GU52 at the earliest because the tentative release date for GU51 is 3/10/09. Obviously what they are told is not written in stone but thats the info they had as of Friday.

If we keep cry and bomb all soe:s forums how much we hate the changes i think they wont happen at all! Dont think they will do anything like this till they make sure that half of the players that play a fighter in this game stays and dont quit the game.
