agreed. My dirge was bringin up an SK for awhile and kept askin me how to tank and I was all "fuck this is hard to explain, why dont you just fucking watch me then next time we run a zone instead of picking your nose in the corner"

I disagree. There's a lot of people out there who have never played a decent MMO before, and don't understand the theory behind tanks. If the last MMO you played was Ragnarok Online, "tanks" were just dps/utility classes who got free mounts.

Oh group tanking I have done succesfully, it is much easier on my berserker then on my monk. I have not tanked all the TSO group zones yet, maybe eventually. I have tanked most of them.

Countdowns are retarded if you have voice. If you don't have voice, then get it. Raiding without voice is Tuor-stupid.

i knew this main tank once who refused to use voice.

i think i bloodied my forehead more than a few times. mainly because i had to remove all of my macros for things like adrenaline just so he could use his own macros, like any of us were ever reading chat while curing/healing/nuking/moving/jerking off/etc. it sure had its moments.

i agree, don't over macro. a good inc message i will use from time to time is "inc /ran 23" then hit insolence within .4 to 19 seconds, depending if i need another beer.
