If ca's crit like spells then 8% base dosent equal 8 crit bonus. Because of the max base + 1 mechanic spells and ca's(i think) yield less dps from crit bonus as the spells mix/max ratio increases.

Yea it works on melee based procs, but not spell/magical, atleast it shouldn't. And i think 95% of item procs are magical damage.

And with next update item procs won't crit or be affected by Base Spell Damage

Heard about that, i guess we're "lucky" since most procs are spell based and we don't have much spell mods to start with.

if you where base spell dmg for your procs that is...
