Mythical + 3.0 delay vs Dual-Wield 4.0 delay x2?

Ecbarry, you were doing testing on different dual-wield weapons, specifically Tangrin's Dagger + Field General's Dagger versus Mythical + <insert 3 delay weapon here>.

What's the result of your testing?

ok here is tonight's parse using Field Generals dagger and the Tangrin dagger

both of these parses where from a laggy as fuck potao so its about even.

grp- warden/temp/dirge/coercer/monk. i had bc/instinct/base dmg & crit bonus from the coercer.

7119 dps from auto attacks
256 dps from hostility of battle (proc from field gen dagger)

Here is the previous potao using 3 sec delay

same grp/same buffs

6300 dps from auto attacks
147 dps from claw
86 dps from mythical.

Are you now using the 4's for dps/maybe tanking?

So even accounting for the lag, the 2 Fabled 4s is probably overall better DPS. Interesting.

One anomaly is that you had 5% better hit rate with the piercers than you did the slashers. But according to my math, even if the hit rate was the same the piercers would still win out.

Very interesting indeed. Of course I'm keeping in mind you're probably over the cap on both Melee Crit + Double Attack. Makes me wonder what the numbers would look like if you weren't capped on both.

I'd still probably tank with the mythical, if only because it offers better defense and because of the hate reactive (and because you can't adorn piercers with an Ayr Stone). By the way, what adorns do you use for piercers anyhow?

yes im capped on both da/mc with the piercers. ill do the next potao with 3 sec again and see what hit rates i get again.

I use the vamp pith adorns.

i dont own the hammer anymore, so i couldnt tell you. but it was less dps then the claw+ its proc
