been a guard since day 1.

recently transferred to another server and once my recruitment is up I am going to Betray to zerker. I have a few friends back on Permafrost that have given me good insight to the class, however I am looking for all the info I can gather right now.
I read the FAQ on eq2forums.
Looked at numerous AA build setups and have been told the basics of Zerker DPS.
Is there anything that you all wish you would have known before painful processes of trial and error?
AA builds?
CA orders?

Didnt realize how different the 2 classes were till i started looking into this, so any help would be welcome.

Not really losing any of the equipment I have in the betrayal and Guild is going to buy the masters.

was going to take out the 7 I had in Hate Gain and do 4-1 in Int. then rest in reversal.

crits are great!
I use this and it works great:
str 4-4-8
sta 4-6-8-8-2
int 4-1

make a macro for your strength line ax ability, that equips any old ax and uses the ability to get 10 seconds of extra crits. Then make a macro for the int line ability, that equips that sword in your profile and gives you 23 haste. The end ability in stamina line is a nice mana saver, and extra heals. Might as well pick it up for 2 points since your there any way.

Edit: this is what I found is best for me right now, so of course just my opinion. It certainly won't be the best for everyone, but that sword is very nice for crits, since it has a wide range in damage...makes it even better than some other weapons with a higher DR and damage procs.

TBH guardiands and zerkers dont play that differently, the majority of our CA's are the same. The only real differences you will have to adjust to is when to use OW, jugger, and destruction based on how well your MT can keep the agro off you. And of course if you were going to use OW and des together you want to cast des first because of its casting time then OW to get the most benefit from both.

Nothing else really pops to mind that you should be doing differently... i will screenshot my EoF aa's later.

aye.. ill use backups for bracers..the doomrage or whitedragon scale crap.
but im shit out of luck on helm. never got doomrage to drop in all those kills in Labs or ichor in all those DT raids.
worse luck ftw!
