Hey guys,
Been awhile since I last played. Had some stuff come up in life and was forced to stop raiding. I was the OT/MT in a raiding guild and we were doing everything in SF except third wing of Underfoot Depths. Everything else we killed even in hardmode. My question is that with the kind of gear I had from doing those raids it seems like my stats are now very low compared to what I am reading on the forums here. I haven't been able to read about all the changes that came across with DoV but from what I have read we got hosed pretty hard. I wanna stick with my zerker as my main since its the toon I enjoy the most and probably the one I play the best. I am just not sure at this point how hard it would be to get into a raiding guild with the gear that my character currently has, or if it would take much work doing X2 or pickups to get a few upgrades before apping. I know it would be hard to find one as a berserker to begin with, my only question is how gear dependent is DoV and would I be viable as is. I would link my eq2players profile, but I am at work and it won't let me access that. Any tips would be very appreciated.

I assume that you have at least T3 SF raid gear, so what you're going to need to look at doing, is getting high strength / stamina jewelry and charms , these you can get running group zones.
You can also get the jewelry by buying the best possible from the different faction merchant's in DOV ( this will require running a shit ton of the PQ's).
Yeah i am in pretty much all T3 SF gear and alot of the SF jewlery as well. Stonewill III neck and ring and such. So I am going to have to get rid of the stonewill III stuff and get more str and sta? Interesting. That doesn't sound too bad though. Thanks for the info.
My suggestion would be to run the x2. The HP and CB/Pot will be good on the jewelry- the weapon and ranged will help greatly because of the crit chance on them. We have done every named in the zone (baring tsarina) with a single tank.
If i recall 105-125 is the Crit Mit range to tank it. You can also pick and choose which nameds to do.
Also, As far as getting into a guild - right now (before gu60) the way most folks rank zerkers is among the bottom teir of tanks.
Thanks for the suggestion on the X2. Kind of figured I would need to do something like that if for no other reason then to get my feet wet again. As far as how zerkers are ranked i kind of figured as much from what i have been reading. I played a zerker when they were not so hot as well as in SF where we were doing very well. I am not so worried about how people rank my class as I am sure i can change their minds if given the chance. I also have a illy and mystic in mostly T2 SF stuff i may have to dust off, just going to try not to have to have that happen.
As a side note what is GU60 suppose to change that may change how others view zerkers? I haven't been able to read too much on what exactly it is going to change that benefits us.
who knows.
On official a dev said they are implementing "a lot" of the changes asked for in our class issues thread. As to how many and which ones... Who knows till test is out.
