Thread: Returning Berserker Questions About Gear

Hello all, I've just recently bought DoV, Yesterday actually. Haven't played since SF came out. Back when I was playing I was playing BG's pretty heavy and got almost a full set of the BG armor (Dreadnaught Set) I think I'm lacking the Helm and bracers. But back when I was playing I remember doing the single group instances in SF with just my BG gear and I was fine. I seem to remember there not being alot of emphasis on needing Crit Mit, in the single group zones.. Correct me if I am wrong, but I had almost none and don't remember it being a problem. Anyways I'm wondering how I would fair in the new single group instance zones, or If I'm going to have to upgrade my gear, and if so to what? I don't have alot of options when it comes to raiding, I hope to get back into a good guild though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You will get bent over backwords if you use BG gear in DoV instance. This exp pack requires crit mit for the easy zones. The easiest and quickest way to get the needed gear for DoV instances would be doing the X4 public quests. Once you have a full set of top tier pq armor, you can start in the begining instances. As a tank Crit Mit will be super important.

A little update... I have gotten full woe, and am currently using a 2-hander cause my crit chance and DPS are higher.. I'd like to get some nice two handers again, and some decent jewlery. What zones could I do comfortably with 112 crit mit and like 150 crit chance? Will I need more than one healer?
