Its a berserker epic, not a weapon to make us guardians. It needs to be class defining, and our defining characteristics are our berserk buffs and our aoe damage. Now, if in T8, they decide to add another characteristic to us, so be it, but the weapon needs to enhance what we are already good at.

I agree AoE damage , and dps. Giving us some sort of defensive buff or anything along those lines does not define our class. I would love to have some huge encounter proc , with a sick dmg rating and delay.

you're completely right. I'm just thinking of an epic weapon that follows the definition of a zerker but giving us a tanking advantage, thats all. when i think of a zerker i think of a huge ass person swinging a weapon widly in a frenzy, ignoring wounds and pushing on, which was my idea with the dmg absorption boost. I don't want a proc thats added just to give us a tanking ability, but one that makes sense for a zerker. We're already the AE kings in dps and aggro, so why not add an advantage to our AE tanking?

All i can say is that a stun proc on epics would be annoying from a MT point of view. If you ever used raincaller on heroics trying to pull you will know what im talking about

never used raincaller on epics, but for regular heroics, i know what you mean hehe. More humorous though when u get 3 procs in a row.

my point exactly... i can see it now "hey skel wtf get the mob back here woushi is roaming" sorry i cant its stuned there... 5 seconds later we're all dead. Stun proc for epics=BAAAAAD

Damage 1-700
Possessed Mayhem

On any successful attack will cast Possessed Mayhem on caster. Lasts 10 seconds. This effect will trigger 2.0 times per minute:
Stifles Caster.
Switches Caster’s Target to a random hostile target.
Caster cannot switch Targets.
Causes caster to double attack on 100% of melee attacks.

To me, the concept of a berserker is one of the relentless and out of control warrior. My goal with this weapon is to capture that.

Another idea is a shield that is used to attack like a secondary weapon. So it has both protection and actual melee damage.

Um... yeah. I would like a weapon that I'd actually use, not feed to my altar.

just for clarification Skel, the stun proc idea was more for the OT zerkers as a different dps option, because not everyone is a MT zerker like you . The proc would be more useful then for some.
