none of us ever talk about solo DPS. 1500 ZW isnt bad for just having KoS gear, i could see you squeezing out a couple hundred more but you are deffinatly within a reasonable DPS range.

Tanking on Offensive hmm, doesnt that make me kinda a uh Paper tank lol. Ull find a Zerker with full EoF gear tanking in Offensive, just because they can.

no... the mit and avoidance you gain means very little. Our first job is to hold agro... with out doing that whats the point in staying alive?

I dont have much problem with agro in a raid, Only when some dumbass mage think's it would be a good idea to Manaburn on pull .

Obviously with the right raid set up MT should'nt have any problem with Agro in either Stance especially Grp's of mobs, where our nice grp AE buffs generate alot of hate.

Maybe its just me but i like being in def, But ill try a raid that i know well to get used to using Offensive.

Ill get back to you on how well it works for me.

The best tanks I know pull with a towershield and then hotswap in a buckler after a few seconds when the debuffs land (meaning your parry and defence mean somethign now narrowing the gap between a buckler/tower).

If you feel unsure about tanking in offensive just swap into it halfway into the fight but honestly block is the only avoid worth anything initially. Block and Health. Defence and parry (which you are prob near the caop of anyway) are very ineffetive vs an undebuffed epic mob so by the time they become useful the epic would be debuffed to such an extent that anyone could tank it.

So in short: Initially all you are vs epic is a big shield and a big bag of health. After the initial hit as debuffs start to land its all a about holding agro locked to you... and for that as a zerker you need dps and lots of it, offensive stance and buckler line best way.

Just promise me you'll pull the mob with a tower shield you'll make the healers feel much happier

Lol it's more exciting pulling the buckler first intial burst of DMG and AE taunt , Then to slug it out switch to DEF.

Think that strat will work, Maybe wack IG on the switch between Offensive to Def.

I have atleast 17 macro's Changing gear, Each Macro on hotbar specific for raids.

Now i have a MMIS raid tommorrow which ill be tanking any pointers?

Only 3% vs level 70 mobs ; but that doesn't take into account uncontested avoidance vs contested avoidance. You'll be shocked at how wide that gap is in realitity.

Once debuffs are down the gap will be *much* narrower (to that 3%) but block is king on undebuffed mobs.

Pointers for MMIS: Pet pulls are good. esp for roamers :-) Also make a macro to say you've been charmed.... the courtasan fight easiest with 2 or 3 tanks/rogues in the raid ready to take agro.
