i like flashy on pull, too. usually a slight dps bump and if we're rushing something, gives me time to get in place while still dpsing.

Yeah, but why not replace that with a bow shot from a rigid scale bow? I don't mean that to be a jerk or anything, I'm wondering if I'm missing something.

Flashy Throw and an auto-attack don't equal most single shots off a good bow. I get anywhere from 3k to 9k from one arrow on the way in to start melee. I don't think we have a single scout using throwing weapons anymore.

auto attack from a rigid scale would mean i'd have to have a rigid scale.
we seem to have horrible luck w/ weapons dropping. took 4 months of killing tarinax to get our FIRST bazkul. another 3 months to get a 2nd one. (2nd person to get it hasn't played much since, either, yay 'wasted' loot)

anycase i've been passing on bows since my spine sheath is "good enough" for now. also kinda wanna see what happens w/ thrown in RoK. but it'll probably end up being weak.
