My retorts in no particular order.

1 phantom handle is enough. before i had the cloak thats what I rocked and i didnt always have 2 regens usually just a dirge and I never had power issues even on 10 min fights.

as a raid leader of a successful guild i have no qualms saying this. no, brigands shouldnt be interceding. its not their fucking job. and so what if you gain huge power splats in the middle of the fight? like i said you shouldnt have power issues... so whats a sudden jump in power going to net you?

malicious assault and safehouse at least have viable uses on a raid. ever fight a. o. hate with assault AA that fight is even more easy than it already is. and safehouse is at least a get out of jail card.

I dont count underground as a part of that tree because you can get it, and everyone should, as they go towards tenure. resists havent meant dick since eof so hardened doesnt really do shit for you, sneak attack isnt a highly used spell on raids, and appeal in its regular state gets the job done... so yeah HAT tree, the worst out of the 4.

And yes the other 2 other than tenure are bad too.

And Metal what am I wrong about I would really like to know? If you are meaning underground, I've already said my peace. I will never say anything that nets anyone dps is a bad choice.

no need for hardened if you sit at 6 to 7k resists already. taunt is useless, so is the fake fd CA. 15% increase of mitigation on an intercede does jack shit if an epic hits a mage for like 14k+ (especially beeing on a 1min recast then)

But, the Cheapshot upgrade makes Cheapshot stick that entire length of the upgrade time, even on heroics. Oops...

i went safehouse and didnt pick cheapshot... the stealth reduced cast at least gives me the option to keep rob up more frequently without loosing too much on autoattack. the 2 deaggros arent bad considering memwipe mobs or if you having a hard time with aggro (as we have the worst deaggro from all rogues/predators). i dont say it isnt manageable, but more easily with those given tools.

Go int line on rogue far enough to get Bootdagger, solves your stealth issue.

wrong madrix. boot dagger is 30s recast, duration of rob is only 20s seconds tho. i went the int line (4-1) for boot dagger, but this CA doesnt land all the time on orange con mobs or stealth gets canceled due to a heal proc.
