Collection Reward VS Quest Reward

I've always had a crappy waist item,

I did the quest and got the belt with
+1 attack speed
+20 combat art damage
+5 slash and +5 pierce
+2 attack speed (adornment)

I decided to change it for the collection (Brute i think) belt
+2% Double attack

My double attack is +3% at the moment, was this the right choice?

Also, should i start looking for + double attack and + crit items now?

Also, this thing will hit like a truck, is it worth it? (after the tanks get it of course)

For a belt...I'd say check out the belt from the Renegade faction in Kunzar Jungle. Easy enough to get and I'd say it's probably the best thing you'll be getting.

As to the sword, I have one, but haven't been able to test much. It seems to be worth it though, as long as your tank can actually hold aggro

I'm one of the few who are able to pull agro on single target from our MT. Normal reason is high stunning mobs etc but he started to throw his toys out of the pram when he saw that equipped on me

I use the nathsar sword and fortunatly our Mt is awesome so i seldom pull aggro but i also rol in my anti aggro stuff to help. ive had it crit for over 6k and have broke broke 4500 dps on some fights as well as sitting around 3k zonewide.

That means I will only see it drop when I'm playing my Defiler in the zone then. lol

(freaking fabled piercer has dropped twice, just when I am on my defiler *grumble*)

i use the sword right now, grev hold's agro just fine and i'm breaking 4k dps on single target fights. deff worth testing out. gonna see how it does DW once i get a raid dropped weapon or the +5 da one out of CoA.
