Last I checked it did, but it's really not worth it.

It works but I cant think of any aes this expansion it would be uber useful on... maybe wing beat i guess, but hit rates being what they are the mobs you would want this aa to work on -- it would rarely land.

IIRC what makes this AA even worse is that BOTH hits from assault must land. Which is retarded ( if its true ) imo, basically this debuff has to pass 2 checks in order to land where as our other AA debuffs only have to pass 1.

Yeah, but compared to the tree's other options' usefulness in raiding, I'd rather put the points to increase skills I use all the time (the rest of the afflictions tree), and just get it for the single point as a "what the hell, why not".

yea our tree isnt really happy shining wonderland
but seriously havin afflictions doesnt hurt even if the improved debuffs dont help that much really , soe fixes hitrates prolly one day highly doubt that,id like to see a dmg gain still in this tree added to the CAs
that wouldnt overpower it tbh but not gonna happen i guess
really sucks gotta deal with short range aes of all sorts and on top of that less hitrate good job SoE

Yeah, I do have the rest of my Affliction tree filled out, mainly for shits and giggles. Not like increasing the effectiveness of those debuffs are really helping much.

lol Or even helping at all.

I did more testing last night in VP on piercing skill out of boredom in the first wing, because I'm a glutton for punishment. I dropped my piercing skill to 478 on purpose (cap is 520 right?) and my hit rate didn't change from when I had it at 568. A 90 difference in piercing should have an affect on your auto-attack hit %. I don't even care about cap, that's still fucking retarded, like we've been saying.

it should. and yeh the cap is about 520. but it doesn't. even the 42 point diff b/t that and cap should've made a difference. but it won't. can we get like a +% to hit rate on some of the RoK drops so we can touch oranges again?
