What do you think . To put an +30 combat arts adorment or a +2 Inc attack speed adorment. It is kind of hard to compare it. At time my Inc attack speed is at 25 and my combat arts are at 160. I try to get the soldier boots, because of the +300 combat arts proc.

I'm going to assume that you are comparing +3 Attack Speed (cause why would you take +2?) to +30 CA. Personally I would take the +CA if price is no problem; though for me price is always a problem so I took +3 AS.

My thinking is kind of the opposite. I can see why it is fabled.

On my server Brig masters are rare as hell. At most you will see maybe 5 total (of course our taunt, deaggro, snare and perhaps one debuff will be the majority of them) and the prices will be well over the cost of one adornment and 100p+ for one that actually does any damage.

If the difference is lets say 100-200 more damage going from Adept III to Master I on one spell for that cost then paying 120p to raise every CA by 120 damage getting 3 adornments is much more worth while don't you think?

Ahh, but adornments are one-use and gone on the next upgrade while masters last until the next level cap raise.

So I just got a wrist from CoA, Thuuga, OverKing, VP, whatever - do I adorn it? If you want to be doing the best dps you can, adorn everything you have.
How many times can you afford to lay out 40p for a single adornment everytime you get an upgrade? Personally I'll pay the small price for the legendary adornment until I get an item I'm way less likely to upgrade.

By the way: has anyone heard of these boots?

I am not saying adorn any treasured POS that you get but after doing some research and figuring out where and if there are upgrades for those slots you can easily decide if the 40p you spend will be worth it or not.

The waist slot is a great example for this. Looking at fabled drops like: \aITEM -1166550900 -1160675810:Energized Protector's Shackle\/a

I do not see a real up grade over the faction obtained item:
\aITEM -1562950687 1420769337:Sarnak Utility Belt\/a

So I think it would be well worth the money spent to place an adornment on this item. Wrists are a bit trickier due to the larger selection, somewhat comparable stats and using those slots to exchange out depending on situation or group setup.

Edit to answer your question -

I imagine that by the time an upgrade drops for 1 of the three slots that allow the fabled +CA adorn and bidding DKP against others that could equip those slots more than likely you would have killed more than 40+ raid mobs that give around 1p each. Thus paying for the new adornement.
