Re: Epic Walkthrough (Brigand)
if we do indeed need Robe of the Oracle here is walk through of the quest :
Starting the Quest Examine the Ancient Koada'Dal Brooch dropped off of the Aqua Goblin Oracle near Globbsunk Cove in Butcherblock Mountains
1. Kill the Aqua Goblin Oracle ( 785, 50, 220 ) to get the brooch to start quest. Only 1 toon may loot the brooch, and the HQ is not shareable, so you will have to kill the Aqua Goblin Oracle multiple times to start the quest for everyone in your group [respawn is 10 mins].
2. Speak to Glavarius Marud in Kelethin ( 293, 109, 94 ) Eq2map.gif.
3. Travel to the Down Below under Qeynos.
* Enter Crow's Resting Place, Thieves Guild ( -144, 0, -74 ) by clicking on the statue in the alcove.
* Speak to Fippy Darkpaw the 4th in the back room. He won't help you at first.
* Click one of the tables in the front room to get a King's Court Ace. ( -9.06, 0.52, 1.36 )
* Speak to Fippy again and give him the ace and, after more dialog, 5 gold. He will give you a clue.
4. Travel to Nektropos Castle.
* Go to Lord Everling's bedroom then down into the basement from there.
* You will find the next clue in a harvestable Empty Crate Note on some crates at ( -41, -13, -57 ) .
* Inspect the note in your inventory.
5. Travel to Fallen Gate.
* Harvest Zannis K'Val's Chest in the market area ( 167, 18, -83 ) , next to Zannas of the Arm (33^^^) and three linked 33^ an intruder countermeasure to receive three notes: Tessa's Appreciation Note, Tessa's Note on the War, and Tessa's Contingency Plan.
* Examine the notes in your inventory.
6. Travel to The Chessboard in the Butcherblock Mountains.
* One of the chess tiles ( -787, 101, -16 ) has a harvestable loose stone. Collecting it will trigger a trap, spawning four linked 34^ a triggered guardian, though if you looted the key from Zannas of the Arm (previous step) it will deactivate the trap and they won't spawn. You will always recieve Tessa's Hidden Notes for Zannas regardless of if you kill the triggered guardians or not.
* Inspect the note in your inventory.
7. Travel to Butcherblock Bay.
* Kill any aqua goblins until you receive an old Teir'Dal gemcron gem. The Runts do not give updates. Kill the goblins on the islands in the bay.
* Inspect the gem in inventory.
8. Travel to the east of Crushbone Keep in Greater Faydark.
* There are three mine openings, enter the rightmost mine at ( -1470, 118, 199 ) .
* Speak to a punished magi apprentice ( -1620, 48, -30 ) . You must be able to speak orcish to speak to him. He wants the cleric helms from four a cleric of Hate to prove you are not a Crushbone spy.
9. Enter Crushbone Keep. Slay four clerics of Hate on the second floor in the Hall of the Magi ( 70, 25, -36 ) to obtain the cleric helms. Most of the other mobs in the room are PHs for the clerics of Hate. Clerics can also be found in Emperor's Chambers ( -13, 22, 31 ) .
10. Return to a punished magi apprentice.
* Extra credit if you can spot the movie reference in his dialog, and bonus points on top of that if you can name the movie! (post your answers to this articles talk page).
11. Enter Crushbone Keep and enter the instanced zone D'Vinnian Throne Room.
* Hail Lady Elizara D'Kush.
* Slay every watchful sentry you encounter: they carry keys that unlock doors to allow further progress.
* Go through the secret door at ( -65, -10, -165 ) .
* Slay Oracle N'Mare (35^^^) for quest completion ( -82, -9, -178 ) .
if we dont need it please feel free to delete this Pantz

Re: Epic Walkthrough (Brigand)
No joke, and it's been confirmed by at least 3 people including myself. I got lucky and nabbed the 3 tradeable robes for 20p total. Only took me 45 minutes to burn through The War and the Wardrobe for the 4th robe...next up on the docket ***SPOILERS ZOMG***...
Seek out The Lady of Betrayal. Any guesses? (I never played EQ1 so I don't really know the lore)

The HQ starter you mean i take it?
The 3 other robes, are a piss take if you ask me ... how the fuck do they expect someone without a mentor bot to get these items !?!
And if they had expected us to buy them of the broker, then yeah right! by now you can expect them to be raised to an insane amout of PP!
Just stupid ... so even if you are able to get a mentoring toon, you still have a huge chance of being blocked for a week on the quest to progress, as you can run PP only once a day, and in the past i had weeks where the rob didn't drop at all !!!
There should really be an alternative thing to progress ... this just seems retarded!
