i am sorry that you are really happy with that pos weapon (compared to others) but you seriously should rethink about it, facts have been mentioned by yobor and pantz, no need to repeat them.

I'm not REALLY happy with the weapon. I am content, though. I have read what they have to say. I agree that there are many epics that are better than ours, as well. I also have said that there is alot of improvement that can be made with the epic.
Is it still the best weapon in the game for brigands (atm)? Yes. Is it much better than any other weapon that I will get (due to me not killing contested)? Yes.

I agree in that it needs some work. I would like to see changes to make it better (like the changes that Yobor posted). But, because I doubt those will happen, I accepted the weapon for what it is....the best that I will be able to get.

I think its awesome that you guys are doing what a lot of other classes aren't doing and brainstorming of how they could change this epic for the better. However, just because I am content with the weapon, doesn't mean I need to reroll or Diaf <---(I LOL'd at that when I saw it, btw).

well i might have overreacted there, but it seriously makes me wanna cry (not that kind of crying, kicks.) as it is just frustrating to see how little use we get out of it, compared to other classes.

well why is it better than any other weapon out there? because it is SUPPOSED to be like that, a mythical be all end all weapon, class defining like ancient teachings. and yet i have not seen anything class defining about it. 10% more debuff amount? could be just aswell swashbucklers, or bards.

I agree that it does lack a "good" class defining ability. That is why Yobor's Dispatched idea is perfect. I'm a proponent for the devs taking a look at the weapon again and adding that ability (or something similar).

I hope my previous post didn't make me sound like a biggity bitch or something...rofl. Just trying to clarify/justify my opinion on the epic.

I agree with Paperclip. The weapon is ok and I am therefore content with it. It is not class defining, as others like dirges or guardian ones are and I would be happy if there would be an effect as Yobor already pointed out with his dispatched idea.
But what I expected, though SOE described the epics as THE weapons, was a weapon that was superior to the Myliex dagger that obviously is contested loot.
That's not the case. In fact it is better. It also might be the best scout melee weapon ingame.
The effects on the weapon are not in any way near the ones on the guardian dirge or illy weapon and I think there is some room for improvement, but the weapon seems to be better than contested loot, which is more than I had expected and that leaves me at least be content with this thing.

So you want a proc that is really only effective in one zone (tomb of thuuga)? Id love to see a raid wipe because they stayed in on wingbeat hoping AR is up lol. Something much more useful would be to make shenanigans into something you could even use on a raid.

Thats a retarded comment to anyone that atually knows how usefull it could be. IMO it would be way overpowered if ever implemented, thus I was trying to be sarcastic. =/

Seriously folks, stop bringing up that it's the "best melee weapon we can get". Strip it to the damage numbers and delay and it's the exact same basic weapon as every scout and fighter gets. Some have slightly different delays, but every melee component part of these weapons is IDENTICAL in terms of scale. They all have 120.9 DR and all have damage spreads that correspond appropriately to the delay to make this DR hit.

SO, what does that let you do? It effectively removes the weapon damage range OUT OF THE EQUATION when looking at the weapons. All classes that melee have this on equal terms. You HAVE to look at buffs to look at this weapon, and that is where the primary complaint comes from. Why should everyone else get things that are so much better for both their class and the raid as a whole compared to what we get?

What? They shouldn't? Oh right, our weapon really isn't that good. This is why people need to stop saying it's okay, because it's not. It's not like we got MORE damage in the weapon stats to compensate for the shitty buffs. We got the exact same base template, and then got fucked in the plug-in parts.

Due to lack of "Meh" option, voting "no."

I'm not so dissatisfied I won't use it - I'm glad I got it, but as far as a class specific BRIGAND weapon, I'm inclined to agree with the rest - it's nothing that I saw and thought "wow that's awesome."

That said, I currently suck for haste, so I'm not going to toss it in a trash bin on my way out of the drivethru at McDonalds.

This is not terribly related or essential - performance wise I could give a shit how something looks, but on a sidenote, I'm amused that it's pink. Of all the colors in the game, we're robbing
and stabbing people with a pretty pink sword. lol
