Retiring as mod
I'm retiring as forum mod. I dont have the time or patience to do it anymore. I've asked LFG to let me pick whos taking over but I dont know if he will or not.
Post here why you think you should be picked or if you would want to do it and if LFG says its cool I'll decide otherwise I'm sure he'll have you vote or something.
Thanks
Lord Pantz, Lord of all that is pants.
Pants.

Thanks

Re: Retiring as mod
I'll throw my name in the ring. I'm not one of the most liked players in EQ2 (but then again, is that a requirement?). I believe I can bring a lot to the table-
- Been playing a brigand as my main since I joined PVP shortly after its release.
- Beta tested EQ2 and have one of the oldest accounts on Nagafen
- Experienced content from all tiers, including T8 (admittedly, not all T8 content- faction raider)
- Have relatively good grammatical skills, and can type over 140 WPM.
- Have a history of posting in the EQ2 Official forums for many years (since 2004, and no longer post there with any regularity due to unfair bannings), and always trying my best to lay out my points in a constructive and readable manner.
- Play EQ2 nightly and can devote the time required as a mod
- Have been involved with MMO and online gaming since 1993 (almost 15 years of experience)
- Have alpha/beta tested over 15 titles and provided feedback accordingly
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the Brigand class and its limitations/advantages
- Solid 8 MB Internet connection with no outage issues
- Reasonable knowledge concerning HTML, RSS, and the knowledge any mod would find necessary
- Multiple monitor setup for quick and efficient moderating and multitasking
If you have any questions regarding my qualifications, please let me know!

Re: Retiring as mod
Im against a PVP playing Brigand being a mod
as you cover only a minority of the player base and this wouldnt probably that healthy as we could end up more pvp related than anything else , and being a faction raider will keep you out of some content as you said yourself considering this is the biggest issue why I dont want a PVP Brigand doing the job
It should be a pve one as the majority plays PVE and if Patnz has someone in mind to take over I would have no problem with the replacemet for him
If LFG doesnt agree to Pantz suggestion than I vote personally for Yobor or Mendanbar to take the job over
Id especially pleased with Yobor

While I would agree with you that there definitely is a lot more PVE players than PVP players, I would say someone who has experience in PVP would make an even better mod than someone who has no experience. Someone who has never played on a PVP server has no idea what PVP is like. However, someone who has played on a PVP server, and especially in exile, has at least some feel for what it's like to be on a PVE server. Therefore, the PVP'er has a broader perspective of what the game has to offer in comparison to the PVE'er, and therefore, I believe, is well rounded and has as much to offer as anybody else.
